I have a pair of .040 cylinders, left one has a pretty deep scratch, not sure if a bore could fix it or not. The right side is a good bore though. Best reasonable offer takes them. Will include a stock head.

Are wrist pins like SUPER strong or something? because I looked at them today and they had NO wear watsoever on them, but the ends match up to be the perfect side of the grooves in the cylinder walls. I guess what im tryin to say is .. can wrist pins own some cylinder walls ?

No offense to loco or any of the newer mods, but I liked it back whe brooke and lee were in charge, it seems like things were alot friendlier and things went smoother. It seems like we lost alot of people with the new changes.

Well my quad died in the middle of a race sunday, I landed a jump and it was like teh key got shut off or something. I tried starting it and it sounded like it wanted to start, it would fire for a half second then die, but never run. We cleaned the carbs , checked spark, all that was fine. Then we checked compression and it blew our fingers off the plug holes, so we thought it was fine, but I got home and pulled the head off and saw a scratch so I pulled the whole jug off and found this. I also found coolant in my left pipe. I think this is why.... and I have a question... would low compression cause the gears to be really short and wind out fast?

I agree this sport is moving up. Last year our local track had an average of about 5 quads. This year its up to about 10-15 . Hell, one night we had 23 I think it was. I'm never letting go of my banshee, I race supercross with it and love representing the old beast

Batoutofshell.... your banshee is like my banshees twin, only a decade older lol. today was fun, the sand was perfect with that light rain we had. Matt thanks for saving my quad from rolling down that hill a couple hundered feet . The day was great, only problem was a masterlink popped off but I got one at the badlands shop and kept on riding. Jason and eric, also had a great time riding in our little group we had. I think the main idea for the day was to stay behind jason just to smell his gas and stay out of jims way so he dont ram you lol What I learned = brakes are a nice thing to have... and I should get some, then maybe when i bottom out atop a hill i wont have to jump off and hold onto my quad with my life.

Try some PB Blaster / Wd 40 , or try it with the quad up against something so it cannot move forward . ... Just my 2 cents. Are you trying to remove both at once? or one at a time? try one at a time.
