I'm pretty sure the sound is just beacuse they need new packing - I got these pipes used also about 2 years ago. they are pro circuits The frame seems to be straight - it has never been rolled hard, only once going like 5mph when I first got the banshee new and wasnt quite used to it yet. I really dont have a price on the whole motor yet, I would like to try and part it out first. Clutch cover - $35+shipping or 35 shipped? Its a sad day but the time has come... I've decided that there is no possibly way for me to progress in my racing career except for to buy a 450 and keep up with the crowd. Well, I'm getting sick of not being able to keep up with all these new 450s, and my racing is going down the drain more and more every time. It sucks... The new race season is getting close and I'd like to finally be able to get faster this year, I've pushed the banshee as far as possible and its just too hard. I figured I'd test the waters and post this up. First off, I'd REALLY like to trade for a stock or modded yfz450 or z400 mx ready, or anything mx ready (shocks,arms,axle being the most important mods) . Or sell the banshee outright for 3850. It has been running good lately with no flaws, the top end is .040 over with about 30 hours on it. +2 arms, +4 raptor axle, billet carrier, hotrods crank, pro circuit pipes, ricky stator, adjustable timing, new clutch, alba grill, inline cooler, pro taper cr highs, killswitch, billet stuff, slotted rotor, ac bumper and grab bar... a lot more. What are the shocks valved for? Would they work for MX, also interested in SS lines.

We will be there in this ... not the exact line up of quads though because this is an old pic.

BUMP - Its sunday the 5th for sure.

The season is starting in under a month and I need some shocks to handle the big tracks again. I sold my setup last year for $ for winter stuff, so its time to look for some new ones. Will accept another set up yfz shocks, or anything aftermarket for +2 arms. I also need a +2 tie rod, I bent one during and indoor race when some fucker rammed me.

I'm mostly an mx rider but when it comes to the badlands I take it through anything that the quad can make it through except big mudholes. This past sunday i was crawling over rocks, riding in the creek, Not sure what we will be driving yet , but I will update this post when I know. Mat and Jason - hopefully you guys can make it again, I have brakes now and I had 0 "almost rolling down a hill" experiences this past sunday .

We are planning another badlands trip. Probly going to get a hotel this time and stay the night and ride for 2 days. We've done it before and its pretty sweet. Anybody want to be in on this ride?

3 members on here with banshees, a raptor, and possibly a z400 are going to the badlands sunday. We will have a black dodge hemi with a 5 quad trailer

Not sure if you want any tips or not. But heres a few things that are holding you back for sure. 34mm carbs (try some 28 or 30s) 21" front tires (definitly run 20's) 16 tooth front sprocket (16 for mx? are you crazy ?) power pro pipes (they look like drag pipes? trade them) handlebars (look like thier a pain in the ass) My banshees fine for mx and sx, just turn those mods around and it should be fine man. dont sell something you custom built.

Tip from me : dont try racing 450's with 18" rears and 8" rims on your banshee. Your race would turn around and they tend to pull away on top. I have experience.

Mine is hard to shift when it comes to something as simple as low oil . I have an oil leak and I can tell when its low just on how its shifting .

not meaning to interfere , but is this the gear that the kickstarter lodges into in order to turn over the engine? and it is held on by a circular clip? Mine is mellowed out as well and I never knew the name of the gear.

Years of racing has finally taken its toll , Its time for a new bottom end and carb setup. My cases are beat, oil leaks everywhere, etc and I'm on my 3rd set of stock carbs, they always fuck up somehow... So Im looking for Bottom end 28-30mm Keihin Carbs OR 2into1 Setup. PM me please.
