  1. well my 350 gas drag banshee was dyno'd at 74 hp. at the rear tires and i could beat modified cr 500's easily.
  2. yea that is pretty dumb riding without a helmet on and doing wheelies and shit.
  3. very true
  4. that looks like some fun....does anyone bother you for racing there ?
  5. i wouldn 't call dragging against bikes a waste of time....all of my banshee's have always smoked bikes even cr 500's......a previous banshee that i built as a challenge i had running a mild drag/ dune port on gas, without an override trans and a set of drag pipes and carbs smoked built cr 500's all day. I just all depends on how well you motor and chassis is setup remember traction makes a huge difference in a drag outcome.....if you can get them bad enough out of the whole you can most likely win the race.
  6. Sundays are the days to be out there.
  7. can't wait to get out there what are you guys running??
  8. who's dyno are you on ?
  9. the shearer pipes do not stick out as much as the cpi's do.
  10. Never really heard anything about them.
  11. you're better off just to unplug the switch and find someone that has the software to tune the ignition for your motor and the type of riding that you do.
  12. I have ran them in the past and don't really care for them....I prefer a stock stator and lightend flywheel with a dyna programmable ignition. You can setup them up to put out way better performance than a pvl and without starting problems associated with a set timing....the dyna progressively adjusts timing according to rpm.
  13. It all depends on your motor.....grr pipes may work good on one motor and may suck on another.
  14. I think stock stroke true 350 motors are cool as hell....if i built another banshee that's probably how i would do it because of the challenge of getting maximum performance out of the way the motor was originally built. As far as strokers go i have never heard of anyone having problems with getting them running right.
  15. You got a steal, those tires are worth twice that.
  16. I also have had good experience with them...I bought some front wheels and tires and get all of my big front sprockets from them....The shit always gets sent out asap.
  17. do any of you guys know of a track in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Mass. ?
  18. Tyson is located in Farmington Hills....He is who did my motor.
  19. A&S does very good work....you'll be really happy with your motor.
  20. They are on ebay now here's the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43983
  21. Not yet... the set i had made for my cheetah is the first time i have used them....I have heard good things about them though. Shearer has been building pipes for a long time and has an awesome repution in 2-stroke racing exhaust work of all types. Just the knowledge and experience he has is enough to make me go with his pipes over any other.
  22. Here's a link to the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43983
  23. Im selling these tires on ebay right now.....no reserve, check em out.
  24. Either pipes will work awesome with that setup.....I run shearers on my 10mm cheetah and am very happy with how they look and perform, But on my old 350 drag bike i ran CPI out of frames and they worked awesome too.
