  1. The pipes, and swingarm will be chromed over the winter, and the cylinders will be polished.
  2. pic two....there are no carbs on the bike yet in these pics....39mm alky carbs will be put on it asap.
  3. Here's some pics of the drag bike i have been working on.....the motor is a tyson 10mm cheetah....look at my profile for all the specs. on the bike....Let me know what you guys think.
  4. I have a 1991 kx 125 also, the black river in port huron usually has alot of sleds that come out and drag. But even better is anchor bay......there are no official classes or anything but all the big guns come out to anchor bay.
  5. true,.....well there's always next season......are you into drag racing???? we have some badass ice drag spots up here. let me know if you're interested.
  6. hmmm. well looks like we'll have to get some sandrails out there. lol
  7. we need to get someone out there with a tractor and grade that shit out.....lol
  8. lol.....I will have to start after the whoops and give them a head start then....lol because with the little bit of suspension i have and a +14 swingam i won't be hitting any deep whoops. lol about how long of a drag race it is on the hill ??
  9. and is there alot of tight trails that i would have to go through to get there. running alcohol the bike burns twice is much fuel in the same amount of time as a gas bike. so i can't go too far from the truck...lol
  10. what do they usually run for suspension on the hill ? i have marvin shaw comps. all the way around. is that pic of the hill the steepest part?? it doesn't look very steep. or big
  11. Is there alot of high power bikes that usually go to bull gap and race the hill ??
  12. Do you know of any smooth sand areas or hill shoots that are open to ride still ?? Let me know i am looking for good places to test the bike and get some time on it. I have heard of bull gap, how is it tho ?
  13. by the way where do you live and what are you running in your bike?
  14. I will be testing it at the horizon outlet center this week and will be racing it at lapeer dragway and all the sand tracks in MI. I will also be attempting to race at the port huron motorcycle club, but i don't think that there is enough stopping distance for the speeds i will be hitting.
  15. it all depends on your motor for what gearing you will be running, on my cheetah for the 1/4 mi. I will be running 19/40 gearing with 22in. slicks. But i also have 128rwhp. For the 1/8 mi. I will be running 16/41. So it all depends on how much you can turn.
  16. Stay away from a boost bottle on a drag motor, I would stongly recommend an override, and if i were you i would just build an awesome triple port 350 motor, there are guys that have been getting 95hp. out of that setup now. If i were you i would work with a builder, they will help you build a badass motor with everything setup how it should be. RDZ racing is an expert on small motors and getting wicked power out of them. His number is 517-404-0346
  17. I know you can hook a stock frame very well...that's why i haven't spent the big money on a drag frame yet.
  18. That does sound weird, usually when you put more air into your motor you would need to supplement it with more fuel. There must be some kind of issue with how much air you motor will draw. This could be effected by, bore size, porting or even reed setup. But even with your setup i wouldn't think that you would need a smaller jet with a bigger carb.
  19. You should beat him easily if you get a good port job, carbs and a set of haulers.
  20. I have had good luck with the pro-wedge 2's on looser dirt, and on hard dirt i use a radail tire with ice pixx. those are the best two setups on dirt.
  21. i will be running a 1/4 mi. run with my cheetah I will post the time on here after..my guess is low 10's high 9's.
