what kind of power increase can a person expect to get in converting to alcohol?

you probly have a stuck float in the bowl. Try cleaning the carb and measure the float hight.

I drained the antifrez(sp) the other day. Today i was cleaning the cover for the water impeller and notice that it has a grooved circle in it. When i looked at the impeller there is also groves in it. And looks to be warped, one side has a flat spot it were it could have been rubbing on the case. Any reason as to why it would have been rubbing? Were is the cheapest place to get the pro design impeller?

I belive that it has somthing to do with the temps. I checked mine in the fall and it was the same a when i had it rebuilt in the summer at 155 and 157 or so. Checked it before i started to tear in to her for winter mods it know read 175 and 177. checked it with both times with the same guage. Have you reciently rebuit the top end. The rings could have seated better?

I checked my compression today to see if everthing was ok. The last time i checked i had 165 and 167. Today i checked it and got 175 and 176. Could the cold weather affect the reading?

Ive never seen somthing like that before! What do they do for performance?

I am trying to put a kit together out of spare parts that i have left over from my car. One of the questions is what type of battery are you using? Is if possible to run the system off of the stator? What is the best port to have, I have heard stock. Also Im at 155 on my compression, think that it need to be lower?

I am looking in to replacing my old clutch lever and perch that has all the old e-brake trash on it. Will the MSR raptor lever and perch work? Or some one tell witch ones will work. In the RM catalog says for motorcycle only.

I have a few billet parts that i am polishing. One of the is a sreamin products throtle cover, I cant seem to get the scratches out of it. It shines but you can see the scratches. On the other hand i also have a cascade block off plate, used the same polish and rubbing compound on it and it look great. Are the materials different?

I was thinking about removing the tors on the banshee. Would i still need to removal kit if i buy new carbs? What is the diff with round slides, flat sides. do they perform any different? I have a full set of mikuni jets so i was going to stick with those. Any suggestions on what size. I was thinking 28mm Another dumb question, what are the stock carbs, 26mm?

your running lean, cold temps is a cause for running lean, and stop trying to ride it cold or you could get a cold seize.

looks better yes! alot better. But i ride in the rocky mountian in the spring, on 4-8 ft of packed snow that is melting. Talk about drowning with the fenders on. I couldnt admadgine rideing up there with out the "dumbo ears"
