  1. So craps itself only under load. Is it spitting unburnt fuel out of exhaust when it bogs down? If it does, than you might have electrical problem after all but it's not noticeable in neutral as the motor have enough inertia to push through. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  2. OK, I'm thinking, if it was breaking up when you rev it in neutral or in a gear but with the clutch in, I would assume it's something electrical, but you stated that it does that only under load. So might be either, air leak, poor fuel delivery or bad compression. How hard is it to start it when it's cold. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  3. Someone with more experience should chip in because I really can't say what it might be from information you provided. My knowledge is limited when it comes to banshees. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  4. So it's got no power at all. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  5. Timing plate is good enough, I was just over thinking shit due to having some spare time. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  6. If I had any clue about electronics would build one myself Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  7. Indeed... Shame Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  8. The best way to save money is to do whole repair and rebuild yourself (which you are already doing, must say well done) but don't cut corners on parts because that is very risky thing to do. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  9. Don't do it, try to save money some other way, if that clutch basket keeps smashing every time you accelerate, eventually it will crack and break, and in that case, you will have very expensive repair on your hands. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  10. That would widen the powerband to some extent. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  11. For example you could set idle advance at 0 degrees and final advance at, let's say 20 degrees at Max rpm and the box would gradually increase or decrease advance depending on the current rpm of the engine. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  12. Anyone thought about developing something like that? Something simple that would work of the rev counter and piggyback into the cdi box and be programmable at the same time. Like power commander in fuel injected 4 pokes. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  13. What is your idle speed like with lightened flywheel? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  14. Ctrl+ Alt+ Del Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  15. Good to know, I thought it's all part of one system. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  16. I would agree, air leak is something that can give you hard time tuning and can kill engine fastest. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  17. Yup, if that was removed than that is not what was giving you the problem. It's something else. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  18. It's this thing here Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  19. If the box is still plugged it would be wise to remove it, all it does is makes your bike few ounces heavier. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  20. Did you remove just the carb switches or the parking brake switch and throttle switch too? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  21. Wait, you said it was running bad at low throttle and good at higher revs. With parking brake on, it idles fine but won't run once you give it throttle. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  22. I unplugged mine some 9 years ago when I started having problems with parking brake switch, newer had problem since. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  23. I assume T. O. R. S. is still on the bike. You have switches on parking brake, thumb throttle and both carburettors that all wire into black box under your fuel tank that make up Throttle Override System. And yes, if the parking brake is on the bike won't pass 2000 revs. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  24. I use to block air box inlet with my hand at cold starts, it would start 3rd kick like that every time and if I wouldn't do it, it would take like 20 kicks but when I changed pilots to size up it never happened again. So that might be your problem too. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  25. But I don't think you have a problem with compression, more like air/fuel mixture. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
