  4. How much was the wiring?If everything mechanical is good and there is no air leaks than its definitely electrical. You have rather weird problem, I just can't think what exactly is causing it if stator is good, coils and caps are good and cdi is healthy too. Maybe some wire breaking up somewhere.   7. It is bad thing if you have standard (oem) spark plug caps, because they are with built-in resistors and spark plugs you bough also have resistors already built into them. If you run them the bike will still run but with weak spark. I was running mine with them for 2 years and other than having trouble starting it, would take a lot mor kicking than with normal plugs.
