  1. Don't know much about porting so templates sound like good starting point. What do you mean timing numbers, duration and time when and for how long what port is opening? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  2. 21cc domes, vf3 reeds, fmf fatties, k&n, stock bore, stock cylinders, stock carbs 30 pilot 290 main at sea level and 35 degrees Celsius. +4 timing plate Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  3. Now for the money you got for it, you can build "mad dog" banshee. Some say that one hasn't been built yet. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  4. Lots of options out there,I think banshee is one of the most customisable bikes, it all depends how much money you want to spend. The cheepest is just to do bore and hone if possible, with new pistons to match. If you can't bore it any more than already is, you will have to get new set of cylinders. 5. Thanks for advice and reference, I'll stop by my local Yamaha shop to check it out. I will get the bearings trough work but might need thrust washers from the dealer. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  6. That's quite possible, your base gasket plays big role too. It would be good if you can check sqush too. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  7. How good are Yamaha rods? I heard they are asking drug money for them but I'll check anyway. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  8. Rebuilding the crank so looking for new conrods, was on ebay but there is to much of a choice, where most (all) of them come in a kit and I'm looking just for bare rods, without bearings and pins. Would appreciate help. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
  9. I'm not a mechanic but I'll give you my opinion. I don't think hone would drop compression that much, especially if you changed pistons to match as well. What gasket thickness were you running before the refresher and what are you running now? Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk

  22. That rubber should prevent mixture leak between the left and right crank chambers I think. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  23. If you use it,roughly 10 years tops, you don't get much longer if you don't use it (I would say around 15) because of the lifetime of the rubber. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
  24. Honestly I would leave it like that ,two years ago one shop near me had 3 of them in crates . They went for $20 000 AUD like a hotcakes. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
