Minimal. My friend told me to check the ohms on the pick up coil so I'm going to do that as soon as I can find out what it's supposed to be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I specifically said it has a brand new wiring harness. No tors, no parking brake, new key switch, stock kill switch. However I did find that 2 of my stator bolts had vibrated out despite using blue loctite. Anyway I got some new stainless Allen head bolts and used some blue sleeve retainer because it's a little stronger than the blue loctite. But still no spark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey guys, my friend was riding my Banshee last night and it randomly died. We assumed it ran out of gas because it was really low, we put gas in it but it won't start. There's no spark for sure, I can hold the spark plug wires while I'm kicking it and it doesn't shock me like it usually does. What else could cause the issue? Everything is plugged in, brand new wiring harness too and had been running amazing ever since I finished the rebuild Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm looking for a set of OEM style uncut front fenders. Color doesn't matter as long as they're not cracked and not sagging extremely bad. I'll be painting them and making support brackets anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll pass then. 175 is too much unless you'd meet me half way, it's almost a 3 hour drive for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll just take the front then cause my rear is okay but the fronts are cut and I hate it. 150 for the front fender and seat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Direct drive 6&12 bolt smoked lenses

Could you make them clear too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Well I took her out tonight so I could take a picture. Unfortunately it doesn't really do it justice but they are quite bright. Brighter than stock for sure. Also it's worth noting that they aren't dual beam bulbs, but they still work when you put the switch to high. Strangely though they're slightly dimmer on high than low lol [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Clutch/clutch lever issues
Derpy Drifter replied to Derpy Drifter's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Update: I've replaced the clutch cable and still have the problem. I'm told it is a new clutch which I believe for 2 reasons, one being that it's a fresh motor, and 2, the clutch is EXTREMELY grabby like it isn't fully broken is yet. Once it starts grabbing there's almost no movement at all on the perch before the clutch is fully engaged. Anyways, so I know it's not the cable, or the perch, and I'm guessing it can't be the pressure plate either because of how the clutch feels unless there's an adjustment on the pressure plate that I don't know about. That leaves the actuator, hub, basket, and adjustment? What do I do to check these things? Also, I have changed my transmission fluid very recently, like a week ago (about 5 hours total ride time), can I reuse it or do I need to go buy new fluid? -
No can do. I'll take some next time I'm night riding probably this week sometime. It's not at my house right now it's in my garage storage unit. Those pictures were taken with both garage doors shut and it was nearly pitch black in there. They don't quite do it justice but they're definitely brighter than stock, assuming they're actually made to run on the Banshees AC current, they'll last a really long time too. Definitely worth 50$ if they do. I had them on for a few hours today while I was working on it so they got shut off and turned on a lot, and I have my idle set down low enough that they were flickering and no problems. I'll report back in a week on whether or not they're still working, if they're gonna blow out I imagine it'll happen by then. Also, I dropped one before I put it in and it still works Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got the Banshee running and the lights installed. There's a couple few pictures as examples. They seem to be wayyy brighter, although I won't know for sure until I ride at night. They're definitely a way whiter light though. 20 LEDs on each bulb Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just received those LED bulbs. Packaging was really nice and very fast shipping even with free standard shipping chosen. They came in an anti-static bag like custom PC parts do and they overall look really good. I'm having mechanical issues with my banshee right now so I can't try them out, but I have all day to work on it tomorrow so hopefully then.

Honestly not worried about the adhesive at all. Even if I find a set and the adhesive is bad, there's a lot of other options to install them.
-
Done! Just ordered them. They're supposed to be here by next week, I'll put them on ASAP and let you all know what they are like! Also, I'll try to take some pictures at night to show how much brighter (or not brighter haha) they actually are. My guess is they're gonna be pretty darn bright and a pretty white tint to the light, although my lenses are a little yellowed.

It's definitely a look preference. I don't really remember what I meant by funtionality but I love the stock look. The boxy shaped body with those big circle lights.. it's kinda silly but a clean look at the same time.
-
If you could, that would be great. I'm planning an overhaul on my banshee for next season, all new Yamaha plastics and all that. I want either the tribal flames, or the original factory graphics.
-
I'm interested in increasing my light output without disrupting the look of the stock headlights or functionality. I found these on ebay, says they work for banshees. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111840914145 Thoughts?

Update: I contacted Alba, (very fast response time and helpful representative! quite pleased with that) and unfortunately, they do not have any remaining kits in stock. It was a limited edition kit and has been discontinued. However, they told me to contact Ceet Racing because they might still have a kit or two leftover! Will post another update once Ceet Racing responds.

I haven't tried calling them, though I will, but I literally cannot find them anywhere at all. All I got was the sale page on a few sites but it said out of stock and/or discontinued
