Right side carburetor pouring gas out of vents

I have, and it appeared fine, however I didn't really inspect it because I wasn't have an issue of course I wanted to do that today but its been pouring down rain all day, don't really think water in my carb is a great idea haha. I'm gonna order a rebuild kit and do it all anyway, couldn't hurt. Found one that's 35 bucks and does both carbs -

Larger carbs for mostly stock motor?

That really necessary? I'm not saying I'm taking his or anybody else's word as gospel, I'm just trying to find a setup that works for me WITHOUT spending a load of money on trial and error. He is an extremely good engine tuner however I know that from experience, but I don't want to go single carb anyway. I honestly don't understand the aftermarket heads with different cc domes and all that. And that's one of those mods where EVERYONE seems to have something to say about it and they all make the best power with their head. As far as the 472 goes, I have been considering that actually, but I found a 521 for basically the same price, just doesn't have pipes included. If I can save that much money over the winter here, then I'll probably do that in the beginning of spring a long with the other mods I want. I wasn't assuming they would resolve my issue immediately, I had no clue if they would, that's why I asked questions. How much does porting generally cost and do you recommend anybody in particular? Like I said I've got nothing for local I basically live in the middle of nowhere lol -

Something needs to change in my setup though because right now my bike dogs a little down low, not as much as it did, but there's still a HUGE power-band that hits and suddenly I'm looking at the clouds in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear -

And if I port it? I can't stand riding a bike that's all top end especially on trails like I ride. I NEED that low end grunt almost all the time -

Those carbs+pod filters plus v force 4 reeds, I'd definitely be making quite a bit more power than I am right now right? I mean, I know for sure I wouldn't lose any power. -

Is there anything wrong with them? Cracks, broken off parts etc? -

Alright, I don't really understand timing plates, however, I do know how to do porting myself and there is a local shop that I think could mill my head down for me. -

Well, if I don't need to go with bigger carbs, what can I do to get some more power(mainly low-mid range, my high end is nuts as it is lol) WITHOUT spending a boat load of money? I've heard that boost bottles are a joke. Porting stock cylinders? Milling head? Also I want to stay on 91-93 pump gas since I can't get any higher octane race fuel locally. -

How big of a single carb would be good? 38-41mm? I don't do any dune riding now or forsee myself doing any for a long time if ever. I'm more of a woods/trail guy myself, but a couple few times a year I would be doing a gravely/sand type surface drag race event(400 feet I think? definitely less than 1/8th mile) -

Alright, just trying to gather some more opinions before I make my decision. It seems that some people can put 35s on a stock motor and gain a lot of power, and some people say you'll lose power. And then there's the few people who say go with a large single carb. Guy at my work, steven, is like a master engine tuner. He told me about the 03 banshee he had a few years ago, with vforce reeds, a big single carb, and toomey pipes, that would run with and sometimes beat the 392-465cc guys unless their quads were tuned perfectly. Everyone seems to have different experiences with these things and everyone's way is the best -
What size carburetors would you guys recommend for a motor with only FMF pipes on it? I'm mostly looking for low-mid range torque and grunt but I don't want to give up all of my high range power either. Something pretty well rounded, good for trail riding and some light occasional drag racing. I'll be going with VForce 4 reeds and pod filters, and switching to a DMC Alien exhaust all at the same time. Possibly a 421 kit in the somewhat near future too.

Well, I ask because where I live, I can't get parts locally. I have to order them online and wait for shipping times. Might be a requirement when I go to move to be near an ATV store or a Yamaha dealer lol. -

No, I didn't guess I'll be doing that then. What should I look for on it? -

I took it apart and cleaned it, it stopped for a little while, and now it's doing it again but slower than before. Even when I'm riding around at full throttle and high rpms it's STILL trickling? -

Well hitting the bowl didn't work. I guess I'm taking apart the carb again soon. I'm gonna get pod filters for the pure convience of being able to get that carbs off faster and easier -

Undoing key switch bypass?
Derpy Drifter replied to Derpy Drifter's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Well, I ended up figuring it out. I connected the brown on the new switch to the black on the harness, and the red on the new switch to the r/b on the harness. Not really sure why it works but it does. I have full functionality of the key and kill switch. -

Derpy Drifter replied to Derpy Drifter's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
UPDATE: I have to have the old ignition switch plugged in to start the quad. The colors on the old switch don't match the harness plug or wiring diagram, one wire is a different color and 2 are in the wrong position in the plug. Also, there's a plain red wire, black, and b/w all spliced together. -
Clutch/clutch lever issues

Right. So, do you know what the solution to the original problem is? New clutch cable or what
