  1. So you changed the domes and started it to find this noise before you took the clutch cover off??? Possibly the fly wheel went bad from being loose?
  2. Im anal about every thing. But because i built this from the ground i followed the book to the T on torque specs. Hell i even put clear 3m chip guard on all places on the frame where a bolt makes contact or a zip tie holds a wire just so it dosnt rub through the paint.. yes i am being serious

  5. Got the play figured out. Went to recheck torque on the swingarm bolt. Somthing must have been pinched when i put it together and torqued it down. Nut was still lock tighted in place but the swingarm bolt was loose, must have broken free what ever was pinched and loosed every thing up
  6. One thing i noticed today, is the swingarm has side to side play on the clutch side. Bearing isnt bad the whole thing including the dust cap is moving on the bolt. Every thing is torqued to spec, curious if the all balls pivot tube is bored slightly to big for the swingarm bolt
  7. Turned the compression up a few clicks on the resi, left my spring pre load alone.that seemed to help for what ever reason
  8. Took the shee for a rip this morning. Coming out of a corner in either 3rd or 4th cant remember. Got on the pipe went to grab the next gear hit for a second then went into neutral. No grinding or banging, pulled clutch down shifted and went through the gears no issue. Never had that happen before short shift possibly? Stock trans with easy springs and shift star and shift shaft modded from fast
  9. Your correct cajun. Just think of it like a distributor. But insted of a rotor and cap, like you said when you move the pick up coil it changes when the spark is told to be sent via the fly wheel
  10. Have a long travel front end. Plus 2 forward 1.
  11. Lock out clutch cover. I dont have a lock out, i want easy access to the clutch

  14. I guess.. just always thought minus 2 was for the mx crowd. Plus 2 being the best of both worlds for stability and handling... Prob the route cause of my wheelying issue is the slp pipes. 😉

  16. I could tinker with my suspension some more. To see if that helps, currently have the rear set up with about 1.5-2in sag with rider weight

  18. I did a frame up build this winter, seems silly to skip the swing arm after putting all this money into it. Plus the round carrior is a huge upgrade. And yes they do look better

  20. Well have stock now. Motor is a 4mil with jeffs play/dune port on pump gas. 1st-4th are pretty much useless unless im sitting on the tank to keep front end down

  23. 0000 steel wool lightly with mothers to get oxidation off first. Then mothers with rag. Dont go hog wild with the wool
