Its all the same colour pretty much inside and out. Its just the natural crappy plastic colour i think.

It might work for that as is probably a different kind of plastic. Some types will dye and some wont so its worth a try.

Rit dye was the 1st thing I tried. Had a smaller tank off a mini moto which is the same material. Boiled it up on the hob and used the white wash and black. Didnt even touch it. Worked well on the swing arm chain roller though.

I've got this oversized tank and i need to make it white. I read that spraying is a bad idea as the vapour naturally seeps through the plastic and will make it bubble. I tried some VHT vinyl dye spray but it kinda scratches off with your nail. Any ideas? Only other option would be to buy a standard tank and white covers, but would rather use this one if poss!

Im going to blast and clear coat the engine but i need to make sure i get some clear coat which will cope with the high temp. What sort of peak temperature in °C can they reach?

If there is enough protruding you can use a dremel with a cutting disc to grind a slot into the top. Then get a flat driver to unscrew + some heat. Worked for me a few times but may not have been as tight as yours.

Ok so I guess its just poorly made. I thought it would be ok as they have sold over 200 on ebay. 100% fb. Also it's just ally not chrome.... I polished it up on arrival.

Having trouble installing the bushings on a lowering bar. They are SO tight! something doesn't feel right. Ive tried pressing one in with the vice but could only push it in a few mm. Surely they cant be this tight a fit? Kinda make the grease nipple redundant. Can anyone shed some light?

Ah ok. I wasn't sure if the dog bone would miss the skid plate or not, but I guess you've just cleared that up. Do you know how much the warrior link lowers the rear end?

If the warrior link lowers it as much as the lowering bar will it still not have the same problem hitting the skid plate?

Yea I want to ride dirt tracks etc. I won't be jumping or anything. I want to ride a little higher than a flattrack set up. Im guessing a r6 shock will be to hard. Is there any donor shocks other quads I can run that will lower it like 4"?

My bike is in complete bits at the moment so i cant really check myself but .... Im thinking of getting a rear lowering link, but if i use it on the lowest setting will the curved shock link fowl on my rear skid/armor plate?

Finding it hard to find a wavey style rear brake rotor in the UK. Wondered which other rear rotos will fit? Raptor, YFZ450, Warrior etc??

I want to put LED turn signals and brake lights on the shee, but am i right in saying i need to convert to DC first or can i run LEDs with AC? Im not great with electrics. So, if i need DC, can i use the regulator/rectifier off a RD350 + battery? I read trail tech do a kit but im trying to keep costs down. Or maybe someone knows of another bike i can use for donor parts?
