Anyone every tried spraying their fairings with plastidip? Thinking it might stretch with the plastic as it flexes and not crack...

Just stripped my first Banshee to get it ready for pc. Noticed the tab next to the column bearing recess is at a angle. Its about 90 degrees to the floor so doesn't follow the line of the steering column. Its this correct? Or bent on impact?

I thought it might be a bit more as a 2 3/4" diff half way along the arm would create a larger diff at the end because of the swing angle. If that make sense ...

Out of interest how much lower would you say these made the front end? Looking to lower mine soon...

I read lowering linkages are really not a good idea?

Cool. Not looking to polish just repaint. The 400 was just a test to see if i had gone right down to the metal with the blasting. Was thinking about trying some glass grit to see if it leaves less dusty residue?

Aluminum oxide. I think is fine grade as its almost powder. Another thing concerning me is that when i run my finger over the blasted area theres alot of residue coming off.

Im having ago at grit blasting a few painted metal parts. The large dark grey area is the blasted section and the shiny patches on the dark grey is where i have gone over it quick with a bit of 400 git paper. Basically, im not sure if the grit blasting is taking off all of the paint OR it is taking off all the paint but just leaving a dull slightly pitted surface. And then by rubbing it down with 400 brings in the shine? Is the metal ment to be all shiny straight after blasting?

On the standard banshee wheels is the lip removable? Im just about to start refurbing them and just wanted to know before i start prying about with a flat screwdriver!

Any cover will be considered but must be in Blue/white color scheme. Maybe with some black too.
