  1. This what i thought. On this basis though it should bog at WOT the first time, not on returning to WOT. So i don't think it can be this.
  2. DMC 916 pipes, K&N filter, no lid on box. Carbs and engine otherwise stock. (TORS removed) 320 mains, clip on 4th position. 141 feet elevation, 28 °C at the time of ride.
  3. My bike has started running a bit strange. If i run full throttle for say 10 seconds or more, then return to half throttle, then back to full throttle quickly it seems to bog down and i have to wait a few seconds and tease it back to wide open again. Could this be the carbs not filling up quick enough? I can't see it being a jetting issue IMO. Running it through the gears wide open is perfectly fine. Any ideas?
  4. Might be worth mentioning as well that after i held it open, i went half throttle for a second or two, then back to open and it started bogging. Cleared after a few seconds.
  5. Is there a easy way to check this without pulling cases off?
  6. Yeah brand new pipes. Holding it open for 10-15 seconds is usually ok it's just when its more than that they go gold.
  7. The DMC paperwork that came with them says they are chrome plated.
  8. I'm running 320 mains with DMC 916 pipes and a K&N filer. 141 feet elevation, 21 °C . I don't think im lean... the plugs have always been pretty dark/oily.
  9. I was rinding for about an hour with no problems. Held it wide open for about 30 seconds and my pipes went really gold with a blue spot. Is my main jet not quite dialled in or did they just get way to hot? After Before Comparison after i cleaned up the left side
  10. Looking for a stock Banshee carb bowl. Doesn't matter if it's cracked or broken. Must be choke side. Thanks.
  11. Thanks for that. Still struggling to find one though. Does it happen to look like any of these?
  12. Could anyone tell me the size of the stock choke jet that sits in the left carb bowl? Doesn't seem to be listed on any parts diagram and i don't have the original. Thanks.
  13. Have tried eBay already and can't find any. Tried Redline too for weeks but doesn't reply to messages. This is kind of a last resort.
  14. Looking for a chrome gas tank cover (or white) like this one.
  15. Great, thanks. Hopefully i can get hold of one.
  16. I need to contact them first, so no not really.
  17. If you actually read my post you'll see i've tried to contact them several times with no success.
  18. Im guessing just a plastic with a chrome effect.
  19. Im after a chrome gas tank cover as below. Where can i buy these from? Have seen a post by Redline racing from a few years ago selling them but have sent a few emails with no response. Not after the carbon fibre type. Cheers
  20. A few years later.. are these still available?
  21. Thanks for the detailed explanation Chris. I'll pull the cages out and see what happens.. fingers crossed its the seal. Top man.
  22. I've probably put about 15hrs on it since I've owned it. Not sure about the guy before me.
