Managed to make one out of a old aluminium bicycle seat post clamp. Looks alright i think.

I actually have a spare set of Alba brake line clamps which i tried already using half of one. It wasn't far off but i think they are just to thin and would snap with vibration. Gunna give these conduit strap a ago. Thanks.

Im missing one of these clamps that holds the skid armor to the frame. Cant seem to find them online anywhere. Anyone one know where i can get some, or know a substitute clamp?

It's real cheap to buy. 5 meters of braided sleeve was about 5 bucks. Heat shrink 3 bucks.

Not sure if this has been done before, but i gave it a try. I think it turned out pretty good. Just need some 10mm braided sleeving and 12mm heat shrink.

Ok so i need a new head. If i found a coolhead somewhere whats the lowest cc 64mm dome i could run on normal gas/stock engine?

One of the domes in my stock head has a small hole about 1.5mm. I have never messed around with domes or know much about them. Are stock domes replaceable or do i need a new head? I have a option to buy a Athena cool head with 68mm 19cc domes... can i run this with a stock engine on normal pump gas?

Sweet. I just found some cleaner on the shelf for cleaning AC condenser units which has a big dose of sodium hydroxide. Sprayed some on and left for 15 mins and it bubbled up a treat taking it to the bare ally. Nice one! Will post a few pics when done.

Im machine polishing a set of rims. My question would be are stock rims coated with a clearcoat or are they plated with some kind of alloy? Reason i ask is i got the rotary on them and nothing really shined up for about 30 seconds the suddenly i broke through to fresh layer of ally. Maybe oxidization? Id there a easy way of removing this coating like a acid cleanser/dip or something?

Also turns out they are stock carbs bored to 28mm.

I read that stock Mikuni carbs are 26 mm, but mine are 28mm and i was told they are stock? If they are not stock will they be cool to use with the right jetting?

Is it worth doing the airbox mod bearing in mind the only other mods are pipes or will it not make much difference?

Will quarter turn be to snappy do you think?
