  1. Just want to get your opinions on this jet set up that the previous owner had installed. PT mids with Fatboy 2 Exhausts K&N D035A6 cone air filter Standard Airbox with lid Standard carbs 50m Above sea level 50 - 60 F Main jet 270 Idle 25 Does this sound about right or what would be a good base to start at?
  2. Yea maybe. A 1/4 twist is what im after as well. What does "straight pull" mean?
  3. Yes correct. Was hoping to get a kit that includes everything so theres no f*ck ups this time.
  4. I bought a twist throttle and TORS compatible cable to suit recently, but the shop sent a incompatible cable for the throttle and it looks like it was a TORS delete cable ... So anyway its all going back. This time i just want it to go smoothly and decided to lose the TORS, so can anyone recommend a store/kit where everything is included (twist throttle, cable, carb caps, idle screws etc). Seen some motion pro and vito bits around but not sure what the difference is?

  8. Yea i know exactly what you mean. I re-strung a weed wacker a few months ago and i thought it may have been from that but its slightly bigger. I guess i'll just see what happens ..

  10. As far as i can tell its just a standard Banshee engine. No power valves or anything ...
  11. Pretty much everything as im doing a complete rebuild. Deffo not clutch arm spring or clutch spring ... only had the 2 side covers off and top end so cant see it being the others.
  12. Just finished putting back together the top end and side covers, but i have this spring left over. The only place i can see it might go with is the neutral switch, but i don't remember one coming out and there's not one on the diagram? I have parts all over the bench at the moment so there a chance its from somewhere else but im pretty sure its from the engine. Any ideas?
  13. Just had a second look at these. Its seems the only way they will fit is if one has sealant facing up and the other down. Wtf is up with that ...

  15. Thanks for the info. The stuff i'll be using is rated up to 900F so its all good.
  16. Im going to paint the cases and calipers in yellow using VHT brand paint. The caliper paint is rated up to 900F, but the engine enamel paint is only rated to 550F. Will i be ok to use the caliper paint to do the engine as well?   17. I think I may still have the bubbling problem with a wrap as the vapour will still pass through the plastic. I might try and seal it first then that should open up some good options.
  18. I boiled up mine for best part of half an hour and it didn't even penetrate. The guy on youtube must have a had a different tank to me.
