  1. It's a fellow grammar nazi!
  2. You realize that smaller tires effect the rotation rate of the tire. Its like changing your front sprocket.
  3. I never told him a size to go with, just stating general effects of different tire sizes.
  4. Not what I said?
  5. I said smaller the diameter and the more scoops, not lesser scoops and larger diameters
  6. Stock 350 bored over and I run 12 paddle, 21 diameter
  7. How? it is true
  8. I have
  9. Smaller paddles give greater acceleration but shave a little off your top speed. The more scoops, the greater pull you get and the greatter hook up you get.
  10. Worry about the miss first. Have you checked your reeds? Compression test?
  11. If you don't have an airbox with a lid then do an outerwear but if you have a good concelled air box just oil it well like mentioned and it will work fine. I tried running 4" K&N pods and my Shee didnt really like them so I put my airbox sand 20 year old UNI back on and it loved it again.
  12. It you are running rich your spark plug will usually be full of gas over the ceramic and it may be wet and full of fuel on the tip. Richness will cause a hesitation before you get into the top end of the powerband. In order to top out in RPMs you may have to give the throttle a couple of good yanks full throttle for it to clear out and reach it.
  13. This would be a cool idea, however a pain to run wiring back into the stator cover and also you might have to machine you own. The flywheel fits pretty snug in the cover.
  14. Fuck Apple. Barebone kits are great if you know what you're doing.
  15. Not all carbs have rubber tipped needles. I assembled the carb on my DT125E and the needle is all steel, even the tip.
  16. That guy wishes. Trading a pos Polaris for a Yamaha.
  17. Fucking phone
  18. It's not about how clean it is, there should be a visible little ring in it when you look at it under light. Take it apart and take a picture of the tip on the side under a light.
  19. Ok but would you say they're worth the $70, taking carbs and intake manifolds out and replacing them? Lol
  20. That's what the choke is for. It allows an extra circuit of gas to be let through causing a rich condition to start.
  21. After I got my Banshee I took the reeds out and saw that there were FMF Ram reeds and cages in but the reeds were torn to shit. I soon replaced them with the stock reed cages with brand new Boyesen reeds that the old owner had lying around. I finally found a couple of places that still sell the reeds but they are $35 each cage. Before I buy $70 in reeds can anyone tell me if their Banshee has gotten a noticeable power advantage with the FMF cages and reeds? It seems like the FMF's to me were better with the low and mid range even with them chewed to hell.
  22. I know that's what I said. You can however buy them from other Powersport shops. There's very few but there is the link I gave you and also the company davritt gave you.
  23. Around 120-130. I have the same set up and I have 125psi, was rebuilt 5 years ago.
