  1. Ya my one intake is already tapped for it, just incase. So it works on vacume? Ahh. I guess if I do it I will call Dennis and have him fix me up. What's that pump you are telling me about sell for?
  2. I haven't decided On That yet. Probably should. I don't know much about that? But it can't be too hard. What do you use to run the pump? Batt. ? What size? Where do you guys put the batt? I will have to research it. Might not have a choice, I will get out this weekend and finally get some runs in.
  3. Yes the slide is marked, but nothing on the body itself. Not that I could find, and yes about the Venturi on the end of the power jet.
  4. I believe they are Packard carbs, (that's what I was told when I bought them) they were advertised as Packard carbs set for a 535 cheetah. No pump on the motor As for number on the float needle I would have to look. Here is some pics of the carbs, but how can you tell if they are Packard carbs just by looking at them?
  5. When I was adjusting them I was only making sure they were the same I didn't actually look at the #. When I get a chance I can pull em and check if you want. But I might need to adjust a bit one way or the other, but I am within a 1/4 turn now I figure. I need to get it out somewhere, to really run it

  7. I traded a stock ignition for this pvl a few months back from a Bhq member. I decided against using the pvl system. System is in good working order. Flywheel was damaged and I'm not sure if it should be used or not(that would be up to you) someone used a claw type puller to get this thing off and it had a crack in it, so I hillbilly(jb) welded it. One would also need their own kill switches. $120 shipped(from Canada) Or trade for? I need a good set of pod filters preferably 12" long for 40mm carbs, would consider smaller sizes(filters must be in great condition) 289-716-0613 feel free to text me.
  8. Well boys I finally got this thing to run semi good. Still needs fine tuning, but holy shit!! Going from a aggressive trail port stock stroke motor to this 535 cheetah on alky is every I thought it would be and more!!! Wow you really do need to hold on when that switch turns on!!! I'm 145lbs soaked, and wah! Can't wait to tune this bitch in! Anyway I kept tuning like lectron instruction say, get a nice idle, smooth and crisp throttle response, and then go ride and tune power jet. So the motor was always lean. Now I have a ritch shitty idle, but not to bad when on the move.
  9. I have a pvl system that I'm not using complete with dial guage. The flywheel, has jb hilbilly weld on it, but it's FINE. I traded a stock ignition for this pvl from a member here. Will trade for? I really need a set of pod filters to fit 40mm carbs, would prefer 10-12", with outerwears. Possable trade for a set of 39mm gas carbs(air strikers preferred) and I add some cash Those are things I need but might trade for ? Will post pics ASAP Or text 289-716-0613
  10. what I ment is I'm wondering if there are any other places that hold events in our are, such as hill climbs? Other places holding drag racing events?
  11. Ya I'm pretty sure a 535 cheetah on methanol, with stock frame and stock swingarm would be quite the trip! Lol But it doesn't.
  12. I purged the bike with the same plugs. And the bike doesn't have any more then 20min running time probably in total.
  13. I realize they look rich but if I go any leaner with needle I get an irratic idle no matter where I put the idle screw? Also keep in mind that is just running it at idle then a 30 second ride of the bike not running rite?
  14. I'm going to get some pics up here in 2 min. Of plugs and the needles. But it's like it's running of fuel?? But I can see fuel in the power jet lines leaving the bowls. Packard bowls.
  15. It's not the power valves, put the block off plates in and same shit!! It's not the ground wire to the stator, hooked it up and same shit! Not the high flow fuel filters, as I took them off and ran lines direct from pingle to each carb. Something is wrong with this thing and its killing me. Almost time to send it to somebody!!
  16. But besides the powervalves,(cause when I took them out they were very clean and seemed to be working fine) I could push them up with ease and the spring took them back down. So any other thoughts? I tried different plugs, same results. Also keep in mind I never ran this motor before. The harness is all new wires, with a ground to frame and a ground to motor. I didn't ground the stator, as I was told it wasn't needed. But I'm going to ground that today also(can't hurt) So great idle, throttle is smooth and crisp when blurping from idle. I can rev it to the moon if I wanted! When riding it has nothing after quarter throttle. Exp. nothing, runs like a 2 cyl on one cyl. Runs like the choke is on but not blowing smoke.
  17. I'm pretty sure what happend here is the motor had block off plates all its life, with little tabs on the bolts to hold an exhaust spring one on each block off plate. The pv themselves have what's like a dowl on each bolt connection, my block off plates don't have that, and I'm thinking the pressure from the springs fucked up the inside of the threads. Cause it's fucking falling apart in thier! As in not much meat left to even tap for a bigger bolt!! I say this cause where the springs were hooked to are the bolt threads that are fucked. Pull the motor today and see what I can do I guess Not enough space to do anything with it in place.
  18. I ended up buying a barrel of vp m1. The only oil I could find that mixes with alky was maxima 927, so that's the oil I'm using. My guy is getting me the klotz as soon as he can.
  19. Ummm really eh? Wow! Not sure if I'm going to make it anyway, having way to many problems with this thing! I really wish I just bought new and started from scratch! Actual long thinking about starting out with some fresh cyl. Rite now!! I guess if I ever do go I will stay in a hotel, not much of a partier anyway, can't remember the last time I drank. Anything else? Hill climbs?
  20. Not to mention can't even put block off plate in left side without removing mounts and lifting motor!! Fuck me!!!!
