  6. Yes I'm a house builder/contractor. And yes I tor down motor to check as far as cyl. Not splitting cases. I am ok with that. What I paid for motor doesn't make a difference. I can see no good comeing of posting the cost. Some will say" wow nice deal" other will " you are stupid paid to much" so as for the cost it just don't matter or make a difference, in the question or concerns that I have or wanted guys with exp. help with. Anything you buy used us a gamble and for the cost to me it was worth the gamble, cause in no way could I build it for half of the cost. As for friggin pics, well I just don't get it! I can't get them up here from my phone! I live in the country, with no Internet except my trusty iPhone! And thanks I do appretiate, the HELPFULL comments.
  7. I think I might of figured it out. My problem is I'm always on mobile version, I don't use a comp. only my iPhone. So I just tried full version and saw the upload pic option, tried uploading but they were to big, so I will try taking some pics tomorow in a smaller size.
  8. I wish I knew how? I read a good explanation on how to do it from face book, but I don't use face book. I do store pis at photobucket if anyone could tell me how to transfer from their?
  9. I'm only 155lbs!
  10. Oh and sorry ment actually tear it down to measure ports etc. ya the answer to that is no also, I'm not that knowledgeable. I wouldn't know what to measure, or where to even start. I'm just going to run it, and hope I can't fucking hold on!!!
  11. Porting its so finky eh? It's dam crazy how the builders out there do it! I just thought cause with my stock cyl. You could really tell the difference from imported to ported, so I was mostly curious. The guy I got it from tor it down, so I'm not going to. For those of you who were talking about the lectrons with me, I have decided to just run alcohol in this as thats what the other guy was going to do. He just put a new head on it with fresh cut domes by Tim. I can't believe the size difference of the inner exhaust! Went to give it a leak test and well as you guys know already, I need to go buy some bigger exhaust plugs!
  12. Not sure if this is too much to ask but I'm curious to see, anyone who has pics of their ported cheetah cylenders (intake) just wanted to compare to this one I bought that is said to be drag ported by k&t. Not doubting him, I just am very curious. Also haveing trouble finding good pics of stock cheetah cylinder intakes? If anyone has and cared to take the time to put up befor and after, well that would be just like Christmas!!
  13. Great thanks. Radar do you own a cheetah
  14. I just got my cheetah motor today and it has a 1-4 5m6m n in stock location any one use these? This is my first drag motor, it's a new hobby I'm picking up. I'm wondering how often do you hit neutral when shifting? I'm really wishing it was 1-4 n down. Anyone with exp. with this style of override please fill me in.
  15. Also I'm in the process of finding a place here in ON Canada to buy alcohol. What are some name brands of the alcohol some of you use? Vp m1, m3, m5 are comeing up in my searches? I am hoping the shop where I buy my race gas can get me some in but I need to know what I need to order.
  16. Thanks, I run klotz race now, so my shop that carries it should hopefully be able to get it in. And I do understand that alcohol is ran alone(with proper mixing oil) What I don't understand is the purging, also I have been reading that when you are done your racing for the day that you drain your tank and your carbs? Is this fact? Is that what is involved with purging?
  17. Thank you very much. I have been doing alot of research the past many hours, and I think I'm going to just run alcohol. The motor is supposedly already set up to do so with domes cut by Titan. The only real reason I was pushing to run race gas is I always have it as I run 50:50 race gas/pump gAs in my trail bike. The other reason being I have not a clue about alcohol. So I have been researching it and believe it would be best suited here. Camatv if you had the time to fill me in on your 535 cheetah set up and what has been working for you, I would be more then happy to listen! What do you mix the alcohol at? What is the alcohol called ?(name brand) Mixing oil? Thanks again
  18. Thanks guys. I see why I always just read from the side lines. Lol Good luck with your projects and take care.
  19. My last message was towards the size difference defiantly not towards you last comment. Just saying they are too big is not being help full. It is starring a point, starring a point and giveing valid reason is being help full. Wow on the crag today. I'm 100% open to all help, it why I finally joined this group instead of reading from the side lines. I said in the begging 0 exp. in lectrons. In noway was I trying to be disrespect full cause that is just not me! But kinda hard to tell when you reading from this. Anyway I'm a big enough to tell you seem to be offended from my "that's not help full" response. But it was my opinion that you were not, so in no way am I sorry for that. But your filling message that I agreed on. Was a very help ful statement.
  20. That's a good point. I never looked at it that way.
  21. That doesn't help any. Why wouldn't you? Have you ever used lectrons with gas? If so, what size? What size motor?
  22. Also I mentioned to Dennis what I was putting these carbs on, he didn't say they were to big. I am sending the carbs to him and havinghim set them up. I wish I knew about these things, I'm not a big of wasting $. Anyone running lectrons with gas, please feel free to let me know the size of motor and size of carbs you are using. Or anyone with exp. running lectrons with gas.
  23. Umm well that sucks !! Sure rained on my parade! What size would you suggest? I don't get it, you can take a set of 35mm pwk's and run them on a stock bore banshee, that comes stock with 26mm carbs. Guys say 39mm pwk's would be a good size for this motor well the 44's are only 5mm bigger, small difference when you compare the 26mm - 35mm. I'm not claiming to know much, I only know what has worked with my experiences, and I have 0 experience with lectron carbs, and. 0 exp. with any banshee motor over stock bore.
