No I purged on a different set of plugs. I will post up in a cpl. Min. Just uploading. They don't look new like everyone says they should? However after many all out passes, I can see a timing line, and if one looks close you can also see the burn mark on the one plug for air/ fuel. I know I must need more tuni g still, cause guys tell me their plugs still look new after a bunch of passes and running the bike back after a pass? Not sure why mine doesn't? My power jets are set at 1/2 turn in from wide open

There was no times? I wish! Not very professional set up, like you guys have in the US, but it was still racing and there was still some good bikes that showed up. Thier was even a cpl. Super mods, intercooler turbo charged 4 cyl. Bikes. Probably like 30 gs into them! No lights, start was done with a elastic band across the line? I wish I could post a cpl. Videos, but for some reason I am having trouble getting them to upload to my photo bucket, tried hard! Just can't get them to upload to photo bucket to b able to transfer here. Next time I'm going to have a buddy work a timer so I have some #'s to compare even just for myself.

Had my first race this weekend, dirt drags. I almost went over but from a full 12 o'clock wheelie! Almost every race if the bike hooked it came up and I had to let off, sometimes costing me the race. First off my bike is too high, I'm aware of this and I am in the process of sendi g my shocks out to ms to get them shortend. The bike has a +12 swingarm, with +3 forward a arms and stock frame. Motor is 535 cheetah I'm looking for pointers to help with this? Will lowering it be enough?(I'm thinking not) What about taking some balls out of the sling shot? Would this help? Allowing the clutch to slip some? It's not lifting when I leave the line, it lifts shifting to second, or just before. I know a wheelie bar would, but I'm thinking that would be my last resort. Also if you have a stock modified frame with 4-6" added to the front and want to sell it please contact me.

Had my first race event with this bike, I'm hooked! Bike ran perfect! Lectrons performed so good! I'm pretty sure I have it set up pretty good! I took 2 3rd places with it. 3rd in the 2 stroke open and 3rd in the 2 and 4 stroke open! Out of about 15 bikes. Not bad considering the bike was in pieces 2 days prior, for a transmission change! Thanks for the advice and help guys!

Well got my first event under my belt. I'm hooked! The 15/45 gearing seamed to work great, had troubles hooking up and then when it hooked up I had trouble keeping the front end from coming all the way up! Almost went over the one time! Real crowd pleaser. Lol. Wish I could put up the video but having trouble up loading it into photo bucket to transfer here. What sucks is there was no timing system. So next time I'm going to have someone time the races. My bike is too tall, sending the shocks out to get shortend, I hope by lowering it, it will help with the front end coming up. Other then that the motor performed good! No melted pistons. Thanks for the help.

I just wanted to let anyone who plans to buy anything from this seller not worry one bit!! He went above and beyond helping me get extra items I needed to install the parts I bought from him. My shocks were too long, and within 1 hour he made a deal with me on a set of shocks and had them shipped out to me! Thanks -

Got these arms today, very happy buyer here!! Quick to ship, thanks again! -
Cause I'm in the process of trying to tune this bike, it's new. So I checked the plugs rite away they showed very lean, and I have had a few lean runs on it in the process of tuning.

What a case saver!! BAM!! Peanut butter and JAM!!! Pm me cost to ship to ON Canada. Also do you make em as ordered? Not that in a huge rush, just wondering? -
This was a false alarm turned out the flywheel came loose, the noise I herd was it. Lucky! I have a new override on the way and few sprockets. I seriously can't wait to try the recommended 15/45.. Souththirty thanks for coming thru for me with the override!! Stand up guy rite up there ^^
-
Thanks, ya it sure isn't an overnight thing. But man I sure am learning lots! Bet u must be aswell? I have my first race on the 25th, 2 weeks, and a new override on the way.
-
Thanks for the support guys!! I honestly thought I was going to get some razzing on this one.
-
Turns out my crank is fine. The noise I herd was my flywheel nut came off and the fly wheel was clunking around on the crank, I thought it was the lower rod bearings. So I'm pretty happy about this and at the same time a little embarrassed that I jumped the gun. Turns out I've talked to a cpl. People and I'm not the only who ever thought this. Lol The thing is it must of happend rite at the end of my run, because I shut the motor down all was fine, pulled the plugs, they looked extremely lean, went to start it back up shortly after, and herd and felt the clunk, clunk as I kicked. Anyway if this gas happened to you let me know. I got that sucker tighten down this time. Air must have been low last time and I didn't notice.
-
Yes I did a leak down test multiple times. Yes cotton LEAN!! Live and learn. Oh well I will get a better motor out of the deal.
-
Pps. What is their web page?
-
In experience with tuning, I leaned it out, I will post a pic of the plugs latter.

I blew this motor! All my own fault. Pretty sure the crank let go, will know for sure by the end of today. Going to send the motor with carbs, and ignition to a builder with engine dyno, have them rebuild, and tune. Probably what I should of done in the first place. Who builds some of the fastest cheetah motors
-
No those are my tires I have on the way. The sand stars are like a 9 paddle I think. Blew the motor in this thing yesturday tho

Can a 1-5 n stock override be changed to a n down?
-
Ok, so the harness and all he would probably want? Cdi? To. Ya I guess that would make sense.
-
Ya it sucks!! And ya for sure, now I can get the override looked at, hopefully the override can just be fixed. In a way I'm kinda glad it happend, cause I bought this motor and who knows the real details on it, such as porting. So now I can get that measured and fixed up also if needed and atliest I will know for sure where the motor is at.
-
Ok thanks. I will call him Monday and see how bizzy he is. We have a short season here and time is going by quick. If not redline, does anyone else have an engine dyno and possably a set of big bore shearers oof? And can send this thing back to me ready to go?
-
Well guys I'm sure some who have been following, and commenting probably thought this was coming, fuck I even thought it would happen, just wish it didn't happen now!! Leaned out to much and 90% sure it's the crank. Dam that meth!! Been running and working on 2 strokes since I was 7 years old never had this much trouble tuning in a motor. I'm thinking about sending it out. I would really rather rebuild it myself, but I really do t want to chance tuning it again. Who can I send it to that has an engine dyno? Plus I have shearer big bore oof pipes, I don't want to have to ship them, I'm located in Canada and cost would be too much. I would like to ship motor with carbs to builder with an engine dyno so they could send it back tuned and ready to bolt in. Maybe minor tweaking for elevation difference but I can hAndle that. Any suggestions?

Override problems starting (maybe)
B.b.p builders replied to B.b.p builders's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
More problems with this override now. Doesn't seem to want to shift wide open I have to let off on the gas for split second for it to shift to third and same for forth? I really need this thing to last just little bit longer,
