Lol I like those guys. they groom the track i ride at and are always super friendly to us. Sometimes i get a deal on shit also they will just say. Give me x amount and not write a reciept on small shit. Although they dont have shit really for a banshee that they dont have to order.

Looking for some good condition tires. Something for the trails. Hole-shots or similar. fronts and rears in good condition. Mounted or unmounted LMK what you have. Don't need to be perfect but im not interested in some worn out slicks either.

Cool, did you end up just using a jumper wire or did you splice them? i got my bike and it had a jumper wire. under heavy load in rough conditions bike would sputter. Took me days to figure it out. I chased jetting like crazy it was quite annoying. once i cut and wired them together it was fine.

Do you mean in bore size also? There are stock stroke cub cylinders that i know of. Pretty sure i remember seeing these in a 66mm may have even been 65mm bore wich was quoted as an old style. I know most are 68mm now

older style has just a black and red wire wich are tied together.( thats how my 89 is) I think new style has a blk/red tied with blk/white and brwn tied with red. not sure how many diffrent styles there are but i know of those two.

red and black go together. it must have had a jumper doing this or it could not have run previously

Checked pickup gap? Have you tested stator and coil with ohm meter. Also tested Kill switch with multimeter for continuity( should have none when on) or just unhooked it and left wires apart? is key switch wires properly spliced together if its bypassed. if its still on the bike do so to rule out bad keyswitch?

My Alba's are 13 3/16 for +2 wider. I think they differ slightly from brand to brand because you have some adjustment with the end.

Pilot is for 0 to about 1/8 throttle and the air/fuel screw works with the pilot/slow speed circuit of the carb mainly affecting the engines starting, idling and initial power delivery. The needle controls the carbs at 1/4 to 3/4 throttle range The main is for 3/4 to WOT The stock banshee carbs are supposedly known for this so they put tors on it as a safety measure.

see them(older style ac propeg with heal guard) spring up on ebay occasionally. Two on there right now one being bid on still and the other buy it now for $175 but it has a cracked tube.

Curious also, I kinda like the look of the xcf's better still. Pretty close in price and if both have issues with space for kicker then i may just go with the XFR's

I realized this after the fact but was thinking i may not want a triple buffed set now. Do you think the non buffed vs. the triple buffed is a big deal for a play bike or does the weight shaved off make a big difference? How about durability are the triple buffs still as durable as the unbuffed? Seems like unless drag racing the thinner tire would just be prone to more issues
