  1. I got the jets installed. She ran good and the plugs were a dark charcoal mixed with brown. These were not new plugs. You can do plug chops with old plugs right? Or do they need to be new? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Elevation 600ft. Average temp right now is like 40-50°f. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My riding conditions don't allow for it. I ride in wet conditions and tend to see a lot of water. She doesn't like water.... But with the air box, she's fine.
  4. Would those k&n clamp ons cause me to have 35s? It ran mint with them...
  5. I cannot tell you.. haven't been in the engine yet. But I have t5s , air box w/ k&n without the lid, Pro design intakes, boyseen reeds, and 64.75 pistons.
  6. I went from clamp ons to air box w/o lid and k&n and adjusted the air screw back to factory settings. Then I attemlty to dial it in correctly and the quad will not stay running on the right side.. it keeps oil fouling the plugs. I put in New plugs and it will run fine for a few seconds then will start to bog and eventually die out on the right side. I have adjusted the screws all the way out to 2.5 turns - 1 turn out and still does it. So I figured I'm Gonna need to rejet. I'm currently running 35 pilots and 330 mains and ordered 32.5 pilots and 310 mains. The quad ran perfectly fine with the clamp ons so I'm pretty sure it isn't a spark problem, both sides have a spark. Jets will be here on Thursday or so. Can someone tell me why it would die out like that?
  7. Forgot to say the resolution.. the hex nut wasn't fully seated causing it to push a hole through the pressure plate and release all tension on the adjuster nut. That backed off . So moral of the story, do the shit right the first time.
  8. Alright, thanks. I'll be 're-torquing it soon as the dickhead who took my tool box returns it. I'll reply back once i do the heat cycles and tell y'all how it goes.
  9. I've got Mxr6 holeshots, they are pretty good at that mph range but they don't last long.
  10. One of your reeds might be broken or chipped. Check those out while the carbs are off.
  11. Just got everything right on this banshee and poured coolant in it last night. I got home a few minutes ago and there was a little bit of wetness around that big gap. Is this somewhat usual since that gasket hasn't had the heat-cycles and hasn't expanded? It's not a lot. Maybe 2-3 drops on the floor in a 24hr period Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. They're mainly for trail. Did you shave the knobs for traction? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I've been researching the best tire for dirt with some good life as well. I've been running the mxr6 holeshots and the are about dead now, they lasted me about a year... What are yalls thoughts on the kenda klaws or knarleys? Pros and cons?
  14. Thanks, I recon I'll order them Vito's. It ended up leaking 1.5 psi in 6 mins. With sealant around it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. But do you think these will expand during heat cycles?
  16. Don't know the name but have a picture but they're rather thick. This was the link we used http://m.ebay.com/itm/230752233314?nav=SEARCH Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Will intake gaskets expand after heat cycles like other gaskets? A rebuild of mine keeps leaking around the intake gaskets, surfaces are smooth and clean, bolts are tight as well.
  18. Thanks for the replys, the adjuster nut backed off. Put blue threadlocker on it and took it down my street to make sure it was working right. Took off fine and engaged properly when I pulled it in. Then when I pulled in the clutch to shift back down to 1st, the wheels locked up and it stalled. Clutch lever got loose again. I threadlocked the nut in front of the pressure plate. I got itinto what I thought was neutral and put it in gear and tried to take off to get back home? Now the clutch won't disengage!!! WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!? it was fine and just went out! Any thoughts before I open the cover again? I've never had a clutch install go this bad...
  19. That's what I'm thinking.. the adjuster backed out. Thanks for the replys.
  20. So here's how it went.I put the clutch in, how the clymers manual says. I soaked the clutch steels, fibers, cushions, and springs in oil overnight. Installed them it earlier today & noticed that the hex bolt that alligns In the pressure plate was not seated. Tried to tap it out with a rubber mallet, no luck. Figured that's how it was when I took it off.. but I had the clutch arm adjusted to the arrow and put everything together. After I took it down my road the second time, easily going through gears, the clutch lever pulled all the way back to the grips, not engaging the clutch at all, causing me to be stuck in 3rd gear all the way home. What the hell happened? I got a feeling it has something to do with that nut that's supposed to fit into the pressure plate?
  21. I do plan to get some 20" when I get some extra cash. But I've gotta make it work until then. Thanks.
  22. Seriously. I just wanna know what is the best psi to run, I don't need any smartass remarks. & thanks specialblend07, that... It does do haha.
