  1. I'm thinking about buying some wiseco forged pistons for my 64.75 bore when I do my rebuild. Would that be a good piston choice for a trail bike? What would I see a difference in? And would I need longer rods. I have not been in the engine yet, but when I bought it a couple years ago he said I had hot rods, don't know the stroke.

  3. I just didn't want to buy these raptor hubs off eBay and the splines not match up . So I'll be good right.
  4. Right now I'm running blaster 8x8 rims with blaster wheel hubs. I bought new rims and didn't think about the pattern... Now I got 9x8.5 rims. Will yfz700 hubs fit on my axle? Stock axle I think.

  7. & when i check the silencers for moisture or radiator fluid smell, nothing.... So I don't think it's going into the cylinder. What should I check first? Water pump or head gasket? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. No, haven't done a leak down since it was last ridden. It was a bitch to get it to pass because of the uneven intakes block. Ended up having to use the gas safe rtv and put it around the gaskets. & and stock head with a standard head gasket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This was at idle just after warm up and coolant flush. It would push the coolant out of the radiator and into the container I had on the ground & all over my pipes. More like building pressure rather still than circulating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. My elevation is 600ft, temperature today was 50°, jetting at 27.5 and 300. Mods are FMF sst, airbox w/o lid, and Oem crank, .030 over bore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This problem has been going on since we bought my brothers Shee a year ago and fully rebuilt it. Bottom end and top end was rebuilt according to clymers. We have has a problem with it getting really hot. At one point we thought it was fixed, but turns out it wasn't. Recently it has started puffing a lot of white smoke only out the right side after the engine has been ridden for about 20 minutes and you start it. ( doesn't puff the cloud after it's started ) and it has also started idling higher after it warms up. Then the coolant level is dramatically lower than what it was filled to with just about nothing In the overflow. I think maybe it's spitting out of the over flow. & I did a coolant flush today thinking that might solve it but it's still doing it. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? And it has the stock impeller and it was working last time I checked it about 3 months ago. Also the Shee has gotten so hot that the coolant has melted the plastic inlet on the overflow, we ended up drilling a new hole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Compression is in the 90's, I'm gonna do a rebuild after Christmas so I guess I'll see then.
  16. Thanks on the socks haha. & yeah, meant trimmed the wire. & I didn't have any business cards but the .030 gauge was able to fit in. It was pretty snug getting it in.
  17. My jetting is pretty spot on at the moment, do I measure the pick up gap from the nub? Shouldn't it be around .020 or .015? & I already trimmed the caps back 1/4. That helped a little bit.
  18. I've had problems when I start my banshee, it acts like it's not getting a good spark. Checked the spark and both looked fine. Now that I have pulled the stator cover, I see that there is some noticeable rust on the flywheel. Could this solve my problem if I cleaned it off, if so how do I clean it?   19. You could try vice-grips. They usually help me when something like that happens.
  20. Alright, cool. And for a while it has been doing some sputtering at WTFO, it has been doing it a while, any help on why its doing that? It only does it when it wants to, not all the time. I'm gonna check the flywheel and stator and key, but it looks like both plugs have a spark about the same... Really bugs me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
