  1. You need a big hammer, loosing 2 bolts on your front arm and then wack the rear carrier it to break it loose
  2. So for someone wanting to get his stock cylinders ported and a 4mill crank would I want the 115 rod or the 110 ? I want a play/ dune bike but hold its own when drag racing. Also with the 115 rod do I need to get different pistons ? I plan to get a cool head, just do not know what brand yet.
  3. OK, Thanks for tips and info.
  4. Don't read it then taco boy, Plenty of other posts you can read ..
  5. OK, cool, Hard to tell if bashing or not I have tried to read so many posts the last 2 weeks and to read 15 pages of bashing on most threads and to try and find out what the answer to the original question is getting real old and makes me not want to search anymore.
  6. Ok, then 115 long rod, don't bash a new guy for not knowing the correct words, or knowing the difference between a stroker crank and stock crank, Just help put me in the right place or hit the road, too much bull crap is bashed on people trying to learn and I don't need the bull crap.
  7. Yes I seen redlines but is it a stroker, I thought it was just a stock length 4mill
  8. This is a hot rods crank with 258 on the rod, so does wang crank copy this ?
  9. I found a new one from someone else for $350 shipped, would it be welded ? of do they not come welded.
  10. If I purchase a new stroker crank it comes trued but is it also welded ? if not can I have my local builder weld it ? or does it need to be a crank place that welds it because then it needs to be rebalanced, and if so any idea of a ruff cost for that. I would ask him but it is Christmas day.
  11. camatv, so what chain are you not breaking now ?
  12. pegs still available ? send me a pm if so.
  13. I thought you was buying quality parts, not cheap parts, but even at the $250 swinger when its finished you will have $4- $5 in it. Good luck with the cheap alba arms, I bought 2 sets a couple years ago, one for a banshee and one for a raptor 660 and I had issues with both sets, hopefully they got the bugs worked out. Your searching for tubes for your a arms, start by finding a parts distributor and order them on line, I found them in 3 seconds. If you have a local dealer ship, they probably have a website and you can order the parts and pick them up.
  14. I just finished a ground up build starting with a frame for a yfz450 and I have about $5500 not counting the motor and I purchased more used then new parts so I can see you having way more then that into it. You also mentioned only buying the frame and harness used, well there is a lot more parts you will need to buy used because you can not purchase them new. And why buy a new swinger for probably $900 when you can get a good used one for $200- $500
  15. Sorry, I did not get a email that you responded, I am not sure if it would work, as long as it takes a stock size axle I would think so. if anyone is interested shoot me a email that is listed above.
