  5. I do not see any cracks in the boots so taking it apart and re sealing it might do the trick, I was just checking were to get the boots once I need them because I knew it would take a few days to find them so I am trying to get a jump on it. I know I will need them some day if not now. I have not had the chance to track down the leak yet, I just know it is leaking around the intake.
  6. I have my stock set up, the billet just looks so dang much nicer...
  7. Thanks, I do not use the cross over tube, the billet intake has the built in cross over so stock boots will not work. Any other suggestions ?
  8. Also is the bolt spread 60mm ?
  9. I purchased a I think a boss intake and after I purchased it some guys here said they are junk and leak, well it did not leak at first with my stock carbs and I installed 28pwk's and today was the first time I went out and rode hard at the dunes and it sprung a air leak somewhere, and I need to find out were it is leaking, It just lost the top end/power band so I sprayed carb fluid around the boots and it started to die so I know I have a leak. if I need to get new boots what should I get, and were are they sold at ? I have 28PWK carbs
  10. Thanks, anyone else ? Should I get size 54 pilots ?
  11. no longer for sale on here, they are listed on ebay. along with some other tires and rims ebay, user: predatorbassbaits1
  12. my mods stock motor with pro circuit pipes, billet intake, pods, V force 4 reeds altitude is about 660 carb needles 3rd from top mains are 155 carbs had 48 pilots and ran best with air/fuel screw 3/4 turns out I installed 50's and it ran best with 1 turn out so I put in 52's and now runs best with 1 1/4 turns out, temps today were 60deg I was told to raise the clip one by a fellow member and just wanted to get some opinions from others, just from short runs at 200 yds it runs good, I have not had a chance for longer runs yet and want to make sure everything is OK before I do that.. with the 28's from stock carbs I need to learn how to shift faster because the thing wants to rip.
  13. This thread is nice but it sure would be nice to have it separated into categories for the size of your carbs so your not looking at 12 pages of stock carbs looking for the very few that are the same size as you would have,

No pics yet and seeing if any interest before I list on ebay I am waiting on my chromes to get here so I can remove the tires and then take pics Yamaha bolt pattern Black rear rims have inner and outer reinforcing rings that are rolled in—not welded Black fronts I think are the Grand Prix rims with the rolled wheel lip, (not the Baja style) This is a $400 set of rims new, asking $250 tyd I am not splitting them.
