Thanks, I am going to pick up a v force 4 reed set and I am not going to install the intake until then so I do not need any gaskets becasuse the reed assembly will have what I need right ?

I just snatched one of these off ebay, seeing this is a real old post is it still a good product and is stock reed gaskets still recomended ? What did you end up paying for the Laegers ? I just got a set of albas for my 660 raptor and one side was welded a tad off center with the standard shock mount and I had to use a hammer to beat on my brand new a arms to make it fit, then I had to drill out the bolt hole for the standard shock mount because it was off kilter and my bolt would not fit through it. alba said they would replace the arm but I had to wait another couple weeks because they did not have parts in stock and plus the shipping time, I was wanting a set of a arms for my banshee but I do not think I would get the albas for my shee. It sure was nice hammering on a new set of a arms..

Thanks Guys, What model should I get ? I want the best but I do not want over kill, I do not plan to jump or race but I like to fly on the trails and I want it to be smooth I am getting old and do not want to be sore after riding.

Thanks savage, Yes I have found out buying used parts is not cutting it, I bought parts the last 2 weeks for a raptor 660 I am fixing up and half the crap was sent back because it was crap and I lost money trying to save money, I bought a set of used a arms for $225 and when I got them the ball joints/heim joints were all wore out and it would have cost more to rebuild them then to buy new ones so I sent them back. I ended up getting a set of those Alba A arms for the raptor, they are in route right now. Are you happy with the alba a arms ? my main quad is my banshee and that is what I want the good shocks for. Have you ever tried the alkas to be able to compair to the evols ? and are your evols 17" then for those a arms ?

I also see stage 2 and stage 4 elkas, is it worth the extra cost for the stage 4's ?

Also is a steering stabalizer a plus ?

I will be getting new A arms also. I rode snowmobile today and got beat up on the trails and it just showed me how much good suspention will be so my next purchase will be a good suspenson.

And also should I go with a long travel ?

I see a lot of alka lovers and want to shop for shocks but would rather have about the best, I ride trails and dunes, the trails are very bumpy What is better fox float or elkas ? If you post your thought please provide which model also.

Those are specialty pipes, one side has a mounting bracket and the other side you hold on to it so you do not fall off.

Yes I know I was the stupid --- and I take full responsabilty for not looking at them carfully. Heck I was buying rims that I thought were done up nice and from the fronts they looked great, I did see the yellow on the2 rear rims that some one mentioned but I thought it was just there and I could fix that up, I even said to him man that sucks and he did not say a thing so if he knew I did not like that little bit of yellow that I could see then it would have been nice if he would of said well look at the other side once if you do not like that little bit of yellow there. And he came 3 hrs this way for something else not for me. My beef is why would he even pull some thing like this, why even polish one side if the other side looks like this, with the other side that bad you would think he would polish that side and ask more for that set of rims, he said he pays like $11 a side to have them polished. It just burns me up that he would leave one side like that when he hooked the other side up. And like I mentioned in the first post, if you were to order these off his ebay ad then this is what you could expect being delivered to you were you could not look at them first so you would have to ship them back and then you would be out shipping of the rims both ways.

Easy on my axle, I just bought the quad and it is in real nice shape expect the axle, one step at a time, I plan to fix the axle as well but the quad needed tires so I started with that. And yes I know it is my fault for not looking at the rims but I had no clue he would even try to pass something like that on. But now if you would have had them shipped to you then that is what you can expect. this is what I bought and plan to hook it up.

Motor City ATV sells used banshee parts and on ebay his user ID is minkia38 He lives in MI and I do as well but he is about 3 hrs away and I had contacted him about his used rims that were polished chrome on one side and he was coming over to my side of the woods the next weekend so I had him bring me a set of rims , he had them in a box and they looked real nice so I bought them and on my way home I dropped them off to my tire shop and had them mount them on brand new tires, the tire guy loaded them in my truck and I got home and went to put them on my banshee and when I flipped the rear rims over the insides looked like garbage and I could not believe that he would even sell some thing like this, I know it is my fault for not looking at the inside of the rims but I had no clue that he would even try and pass this on like this. I called him and he said he would take them back but the bad thing was the tire shop had closed so I could not get my tires off to return the rims and by the time I could get them off he would be 3hrs away from me and so I would have the cost of installing the rims and dismounting and then shipping them back to him and by then I would be out over $100 and I could have purchased brand new rims for the amount of money I just spent. The bad about this is if some one was to order from him and have the rims shipped and you receive them this way you would have to ship them back so you would be out on shipping the rims both ways. I emailed him a bunch trying to work something out with him and in his mind he felt that he did nothing wrong and it was perfectly fine to sell rims like this because he advertises the rims as polished on one side. So I will never buy any thing from him ever because if this is what he thinks is fine to do then who knows what kind of junk the next item will be. So just a word of caution when buying used parts from this guy. Here is the pictures of the rims. If I am wrong about posting about this please let me know.
