Edit...
It would not run past 1/8th throttle.

My experience...bad cdi caused me to chase jetting issues. Sputtered on topend and then one day after I parked it to smoke a cig, I started it back up on the first kick and it would run past any throttle position other than 1/8th. Sputtered like it had dropped a needle or firing on a bad cylinder.
It never went backwards but it sure in the hell didn't like to go forward.
Moral of the story is that a cdi will do all kinds of funky shit. Even when they are shot, it will run and some will not.

If that tester is not threaded in all the way, you will have lower results.
My last tester showed that I was at 90 psi on my cub until I tried another one and it read 148.

They worked fine as long as your motor doesn't already have the exhaust port raised. I installed some in a drag ported stock cylinder and man that thing hit like a freight train. ZERO bottom end and strung the fuck out on the top end. Pulled them out and installed new wiseco's and it tamed it quite a bit.
Ditch that +4 key and get an adjustable timing plate.

I ran 110 on it with +7 and 145 comp. It ran great. My first set of domes was set for pump gas. Put that motor on race gas.

Looking for the nut that screws into the bottom of the carb bowl. Not sure of the technical name.
Only need one and it doesn't have to be pretty. I have other plans for it.
Thanks.

My wife wanted pink so I built her one and put a pink handle bar pad on it. She never rode a 2 stroke so I decided to make her first motor a 358 cub. It flys and she only weighs 105 lbs. who said you have to crawl before you walk?

A little play will always be there regardless.

Not sure if Vito's uses the g-115 rod unless it's an older version. Those are the same rods that are on most of hjr's cranks. I think NLP and m&m used them as well. Definately not the y29l/r bananas.

Last time we ordered we paid $42 per gallon on a 4 gallon order to my door.
Really. You charged me 60.00 a gallon. That's the last time I trust you1

And he will recommend ATF any day of the week.Shearers, FTW!
Come to think about it, most builders recommend ATF any day of the week.

Got it. Pro taper Atv mid bend's have 206 mm of control space. My renthals were 190.

Part number is 87 504167

I know everyone has their own preferences so I ask this question based on measurements.
I have a chariot throttle with 120mm odi ruffian lock on grips. I'm having an issue with all of the controls actually fitting. They would all work together if I used a stock throttle. I'm currently using renthal 7/8's bars. Not sure of the bend type.
My brake mc has to be pushed all the way to the left and it still isn't right. If I go too far it will work but it cants my lever end upwards. If I stop right at the bend, my grips won't slide on completely.
Are there any bars that you could recommend that has a longer length from the bend to the end?
Thanks

never said it was customers fault ...
I guess im just more patient than most people and I have more than a few different bikes to ride ...
Is jim giving you a free port job for defending him on bhq?

Midnight bump and also reminding hp2000 to take his herpes medicine.

Some people are all about principles. If you tell me that they will be shipped on X day and they don't ship, you owe me a response if I inquire. A simple "I got swamped, don't have time, or you just have to fucking wait" would all suffice as an adequate response. Reassurance is key.
Avoiding phone calls implies that he hasn't done shit to your jugs and will do so when he has time. Not the right thing to do and I hope nobody else sends him shit in the future. Not worth the hassle.
Sounds like jim and Greg whitaker should compete for the shittiest customer service award. Survey sayssssssss.........

What type of calculator are you using?
875.00 for cylinders
250 domes and port
200 for pistons
30 stud extenders
6 water jacket plugs
10 gasket
25 for shipping
Regardless you are saving time and money. Not interested, move right along to a site sponsor and buy new. If you want to save 350-400 bucks then buy mine. I have 3 Cp cylinders and my life isn't hinged on this sale.
Cam will sell you this exact setup being that he is the one who set it up.

These have not been decked or any of the port height messed with. The domes were swept out to adjust for the lack of base gasket. You can install regular cub domes and go back to a base gasket. Or keep it the same setup as I did.
-
Here are the photos.
None of the marks are grooves. Everything is smooth. Also the 1211 is still visible on the base of the cylinders. As previously stated, this setup did not use a base gasket and was sealed down with 1211.

My type of riding. Occasional dunes but mostly this.

Just the right amount for you hp. It's identical to yours so buy it for a spare.

Wired an exciter coil backwards on my old polaris 400 scrambler. Forward was reverse and reverse forward. Took out the garage door when it fired up.
