  1. Kamikaze...im pretty positive that your are chasing a carb sync issue. Ive been there and done that. Take your time and set the carbs correctly and you should notice the change. That serval will impress you. I run a +6 swinger and when the tires hook, the front end will point to the sky. 2 jet sizes in the wrong direction will make it feek weak. When its spot on, you will knowm

  2. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Misunderstanding thru a keyboard. Did I say that he shouldn't be obligated to take care of him or the issue? No, because he should. All I'm saying is there is a 2nd side to every story and I know brads not one to argue. Cracks me up how 90% of the people on here are always high strung and ready to crucify every builder that doesn't give them the walmart experience

It's extremely hard to see your side of the coin when you have jumped in on the 2 threads that involve tyson. Instead of saying "this might be considered bias" and "don't take my words as his" as your talking points.

I never used your comment as implication of right or wrong. It just appears that you are quick take the grenade for him. How about calling him and say hey bro this is 2 times in less than a month that I've had to be your cheerleader and take flak. It's about time that you start handling your own problems and let me be the guy that just answers the phone.

  3. I don't speak for him and my words should not be taken as his but I'm sure he won't get on here to argue for the same reason he "won't take his calls" some people know everything and aren't worth the argument. There is 2 sides to every story

When you take my money, you have signed up to take my phone calls/emails and talk me through any issue involved with said transaction and product.

In this case, He shipped his motor to him and got a pile of shit back. If it was me, that builder would find me and the motor sitting on his doorstep after all other means of communications have failed to yield reasonable results.

If you aren't up to the task, don't take part in the transaction. Decline the business and move on.

  4. Why don't builder join in on the forum that they pay to advertise on. KAN has Facebook on lock down and you're going to have a hard time in that venue to generate revenue over him.

This is a wasted opportunity for Tyson to plead his case and add his generosity to the search archive.

With all of the shut talking about alba, they come on and publicly make the necessary corrections.

  5. Are these questions just a wolf in sheep's clothes? It appears that the common response now is that it is definitely your fault and experience always wins. People make mistakes and it causes the consumer to be pissed. Bipolar has every right to say that Tysons screwed up. Tyson refuses to fix the situation because it means money out of his pocket.

It appears that anyone can be a builder nowadays, the recipe is as such.

Yes I can do that, it cost xxxx.xx, send it and I will have it done in xx days.

Xx days pass and still no product. Product finally gets sent back to consumer and then it shits the bed. Builder says not my fault, it's performance parts, eat shit!

In theory all you have to do is deliver A product that kinda resembles what what discussed. Wrong dome design, not my problem. Shitty crank pin welds, not my problem. Shitty port work, not my problem.

But hey I know how to fix it, send me more money and then I will probably get it right this time at your expense.

  6. Tyler... who built your subby again? was it tyson?

ideally thats exactly what I want to do for mine one day... bolt on subframe

also.. looking at your tabs.. wouldnt the sub frame be kind of prone to snapping REAL EASY at the tabs? one roll over hitting the subframe would surely just rip them out along with what ever else is on the subframe

The same guy that built his new frame told me that bolt on sub frames are not recommended. He did say that he would send me a bolt on if I really wanted it. Something about bolt holes wearing out and the sub frame starts to feel like a wet noodle flopping around. Secured yes, but not like a weld on.
  7. Pictures won't show you shit. You should measure from the ground up to several points on the original subframe before you even begin to cut. The brake reservoir will be your main focus. Weld the sub on wrong and it will be all dicked up.

I would also measure the rear exhaust hanger bolts from the ground up as well.

  8. It can be done. Just did it to a set of works with dual rate springs. You're going to find out that the spring compressors from auto stores will have jaws that are too thick to put into the springs. You might find a good set but I was unable to. Resorted to the vice and man card.
