  1. May/June would be fine normally. It sort of depends on if we have a bad winter or not, i have seen snow still on the ground into May up here. But the last 6-7 years have been very good, snow all gone in March/early April.
  2. It sounds like fun to me. I dont care what everyone rides, just fun to ride with other people. So often than not i end up riding by myself around here. Gets boring after a while.
  3. Black plastics with orange graphics or orange pinstriping.
  4. my guess is the clutch is slipping, ive had this happen before on different bikes and it felt exactly as you described it.
  5. Interested in lowering kit if TORKER doesnt buy it.
  6. I would not put stockers back on if it were me. Id save and spend some money on some works or elkas. Works are obliviously the cheapest aftermarket shock, but work decently i think. I have works on my bike. Theyre tons better than stock. Id get whatever you can afford......if you can afford elkas get em. You never see anyone selling their elka shocks to get Works shocks right?
  7. its different man, could be sweet as hell or weird as hell depending on your overall color scheme.
  8. I had no idea you were from south africa, it is not listed in your location on the left side of the screen under your name like most people are. I never meant anything negative by my comments suggesting sending to a site sponsor.....in your case i am sure its more hassle than its worth with the international shipping and all that crap. Just simply thought you were trying to be ultra-cheap and do something yourself instead of spending a bit of cash and have it done by someone reputable. Didnt mean to cause any shit dude.
  9. Check this out dude...might help or might not. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=112312
  10. That sure the hell aint gonna get you anywhere around here. Send it to a site sponsor, most of them do the porting for a reasonable cost (between $250-$400) and they know what the hell theyre doing, there is no guess work involved. A ton of guys around here have used them for porting, so they can vouch for their work.
  11. So it worked for you eh? It was recorded off a video on youtube of a 421 banshee ice racing....i think it sounds good. Its set as my ringtone now....but i might make another soon just for a change. They are simple to make with this program.
  12. should be a 5 digit code on the bottom of your ignition, give that to a local Yamaha dealer and they should be able to cut you a key for under 10 bones.
  13. At least if you dont splice the right wires, you wont have to worry about your carbs not opening all the way. haha
  14. download this one i made. It sounds good and its got good quality i think. http://wikisend.com/download/141068/Banshee ringtone.mp3 If that wont work then PM me your email addresses and i can email them to you that way, but this should work.
  15. payment sent for the butt plugs......i mean pipe plugs. hahaha thanks again
  16. BB Gun???? You'll shoot your eye out with that thing.....
  17. Trails around me are good, but can get dusty. I can ride from my house north about 40 miles or so on the main trail, lots of little trails that branch off, a few sand pits. I can also take off from my house and ride about 30-40 miles south to Arnold, maybe a bit further but i havent ever went further. Down south of me there is alot of hard woods and hard pack trails. The trails that are to the north (from gwinn to marquette) are majority sandy. This is a pic of the trails near Marquette, sandy, wide open, but can get a bit dusty. (yes thats a monster truck in the trail, i ran into him this spring while riding the rhino) Im up for anything, never done a group ride before, but not opposed to it. Been riding most of my life, just sort of new to the banshee scene. This is a pic just heading south of Gwinn last fall
