  2. That'll be okay, I need to be able to beat somebody. haha
  3. Get that banshee done before spring, u wont hear the end of it if you bring a blaster on a ride. hahaha
  4. I have a pro design tether, works good. I purchased a Vito's tors removal kit on ebay, mainly because it was dirt cheap....but id suggest a site sponsor....only run about 50$ i think. I purchased a ton of jets thru Rockymtnatv, all what i thought i would need for my mods, elevation, temops, etc.
  5. I run Amsoil interceptor at 32:1 and am very happy with it.

    Would you?

    Yeah id do her again....
  7. Okay. But im wondering why its overflowing and driping onto the pipes when the temp gauge only shows 155 degrees. is this an overheating problem or could it be a bad head gasket?
  8. I have a trailtech inline temp gauge, temp was running around 155ish at peak the other day. Normally my temps are 160-185ish and i havent noticed any coolant dripping out of the overflow onto the right exhaust pipe. I stopped on the road and had a bit of coolant dripping out of right side onto pipe.....not a ton but temp was fine and didnt feel terribly hot. Am i overheating or could this be a head gasket problem? I dont notice any coolant leaks anywhere, plugs are burning evenly, last compression test was 118/120ish on both cylinders, over the last tyank a a half of fuel i have noticed a very small amount of coolant missing from bottle under the seat....maybe 1/8"-1/4" lower than when i had filled it. Any ideas?
  9. alright, thanks guys. Ill just stick with my Pro Circuits....maybe just do some porting down the road. As for updated suspension its decent, shocks need to be revalved for my weight. I have +2/+1 lonestar arms with works shocks....not the best shocks but way better than stock. The rear shock is stock with a lonestar +4 axle. I am happy with the way it rides except for the soft front shocks.
  10. I have a stock motor with pro design intake and pro circuit exhaust. This is the first banshee i have owned, and all these parts came on it....so i have no experiences with anything else. Just wondering how this exhaust compares on stockish motors vs other exhausts. Is this a good exhaust to be running with a stock motor? I ride mainly open fast trails and fire roads. I ran a few searches and didnt turn up anything.
  11. hahahaha, you beat me to it Glenyboy
  12. It looks about 1 size too rich on the main. I like to run mine a bit rich, so id stay there if it were mine. Mines probably 2 sizes richer than "perfect".
  13. I guess my thoughts are; if im going into the bottom end it seems smarter to me to do a 4 mil setup than to weld the stocker. I guess maybe i should just save some more and get the 4mil crank and do a stock cyl 4mil setup. Just seems like i hear alot of people that just piss away money beating around the bush and then end up with a 4mil setup anyways. Could i run a 4mil crank, stock ported cylinders, and stock carbs?
  14. I have a couple hundred bucks to spend on the quad right now. Im wondering what everybody thinks would be my best move. I have a stock motor setup w/ pro design intake & pro circuit exhaust. I do mostly trail riding, fire roads, and sand pits. I want to get a cool head w/ 21 cc domes but was wondering if this setup will show me bigger gains than putting in different reeds like the VF3/ VF4 setup? Might be a dumb question but im new to the banshee scene and couldnt find how much hp gains each made and if its that noticeable. What does everyone think?
  15. makes me miss the dunes. nice pics, thanks for sharing
  16. I don't have any experience with any other exhaust.....but I like my pro circuits on my sorta stock bike.
