  3. X2 on leakdown test. Do a search here there's some how to's on building your own for under 20 bucks. Also your carbs could be out of sync or air screws not at equal turns out.
  4. Cases n flywheel came today....wasn't impressed w packin or lack there of. A lil newspaper n cardboard can go along way, could see the clutch side otline ion the box and the stub that the starter gear spring sits on will need to be fixed now. Maybe try packing items the way you would like to receive them.
  5. They'll be staying were there at then. I was looking for a set to put on my bike when/if I send my Works out to be rebuilt. Thanks for the quick replies.
  6. Anyone know anything about these shocks? There for sale locally for $125.
  7. Why is there so much negative feedback to ppl wanting to learn or do there own porting??? If you have the patience then go for it! I can count on one hand the builders I'd trust my work with so if you have the ambition n money to spend/waste on learning n fuckin shit up then why no. A few more good builders sure won't hurt nothin in my book. Just be prepared to get 99 don't do it replies for every 1 that gives some useful advice.
  8. Just because a plug will spark when grounded out of the engine doesn't mean it will spark under compression. I've had plugs give a nice blue spark sitting on the motor but had a poor or no spark under compression. Never figured it out till i used an in line spark tester Slide cutouts face air filter....there are many how to write ups here on leakdown testers just search it.
  9. Hoppedup made a good point, if it'll fire by putting your hand over the carb it might not be electrical. I'd start w a leakdown to check for /eliminate leaks, than put an inline spark tester on the non firing side, how have you checked for spark? Just because that side doesn't fire dosent always mean there's no spark. You could just be getting too much fuel on that side. I just had The same issue w mine and it turned out the carbs werent quite in sync and air screws were at like 1/2 and 4 turns out
  10. Cap n flag mount came today, looks better than described. Thanks for the quick shipping too.
