  1. Really? Did trigger have much to do with it? The lc9s is striker fired, it's a night and day difference over the old lc9. And even with 124grn +p rounds I prefer my 9 over a 40. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I think 40 is pointless. Try shooting both, the 40 will feel a lot harsher with such a short barrel. I carry a Ruger LC9s and absolutely love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What brand is the kicker? Does it rattle? Pics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I had my shearers ceracoated, after 1 season of ice racing it's coming off already Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. And on a new frame which never had a vin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So my banshee has no vin or registration. I only use it for racing and don't need the state reg for on the track. Does this mean some dick cop could try to confiscate it any time I'm trailer in got down the highway? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Wow. I wish I could run something like that! Some of the smaller races have classes that are open to any studs but most are kold kutters only Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Its actually on the softer side. Just hooked up like crazy yesterday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I got my girlfriend to come out and take a few pics while I was riding yesterday. See the missing silencer bolt? It kinda fell off about 2 laps later.
  10. Back up and running...again. Made it to my last race of the year. Took 1st in open and 3rd in pro. Can't wait until next year now that I got motor and suspension all dialed in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Are you actually ice racing or just playing around? My first ice motor was a 370 long rod from Redline. That thing was amazing and I don't think it was super expensive. You should give Cam a call and see what he can do on the budget you have in mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. So is this the case you mentioned in your post that someone took a dremel to?
  14. Can you post pic of stator side and bearing journals?
  15. Ya. Got the temp gauge. Didn't look at it...
  16. Ya. Hopped on and took off. Didn't realize how long it had been sitting and I was in a hurry. Lesson learned. I'm kinda like the ddq of the north...
  17. Thanks. I was going to come up and race at winterfest but I kinda cold seized it last weekend. Waiting on millinneum to replate now [emoji20]
  18. I've got the Cheng shins. Front are latter xc 2's. I'm pretty happy with them so far but I want to try a set of sand stars for next year.
  19. I've been trying to hit the outside line a little more but no one else does so it's really dirty. Temps have been in the low 30's for my past 2 races so ice was really sloppy. I have this weekend off so hopefully it will be colder for my next races on feb 7&8 so I can try the outside line. Even hugging the inside I can past most guys by middle of the straight now.
  20. Has anyone mentioned Redline yet? I have never missed a shift and only clutch with 1 finger. Smooth as butter
  21. I have shearer in frames. I actually have mine tuned pretty conservatively @ 83 HP. Can't really say how much u need to be competitive. I have way more than Anyone I race against but without then proper chassis setup I still can't win
  22. I have 3-1 arms and 4-1 wheels and I think I'm just under 50"
  23. Thanks It is n't that bad actually. You dress for the weather, this season is actually been TOO warm. getting into the 30's on race day means soft ice and not hooking up well. I've considered that. Now that I got mine running right I'm going to finish setting up the suspension on Friday. It's got enough down low to pull hard through the corners in 4th. I'll try to throw up some new videos this coming Sunday. If weather stays nice I've got a big 2 day race this weekend.
  24. Crf 450 in aluminum lrd chassis seems to be the winning setup around here... But I'm loving the motor I have. Just need to do more chassis setup to get it to stick. Handling is more important than horsepower
  25. Thanks. It's tough to get good advice on suspension setups for flat track
