  1. LMS1977 had a 10serval. The thing would pull a house down at idle
  2. I think he sold those paddles. I have the same kind. mine are about 80%. ill bring my set. yous are more then welcome to try them, im not dicking with changing tires tho. I will only be wrenching if its ABSOULUTLY necessary.
  3. That blows! On a bright side, at least it did not happen to a new owner on their first trip out.
  4. It luck of the draw. They are all junk. Anything thats spins that fast is prone to failure.
  5. On my frame i just took the coil mounts and voltage regulator to bare metal. I also have a ground strap from my motor to my chassis
  6. All i do is climb the biggest hills around. Im currently riding a 10cub. I love the motor. I did have a 421 cub that i used to climb with. It was a beast as well. But if you had to lift off the throttle for an extended period of time you were grabbing for the clutch in a hurry. Id say if your a real aggressive rider and like a higher strung motor go with a cub. If your a lazy rider and want room for rider error do a serval.
  7. Redline did a stock modded trans in my 10cub. Shifts like a dream.
  8. Check stupid stuff. Maybe spark plug nipple rattled off?coil wires need to be trimmed? Usually at high rpm is spark.
  9. This shock is in good working order. Came off my personal 2006 pile of junk.I went to a +8 arm so i had to upgrade to a different shock. I will also throw in an outer wear and bushings. 75.00 shipped with a gifted payment, or pay fees. Thanks
  10. Compression testers are more unreliable then the weather channel. I bought 2 testers and both were f'ed up right out the box. Do yourself a favor, go to sears and get the craftsman kit.
  11. Two seals, one bearing, and there is a steering stem spacer so the stem nut doesent crush the bearing when tightening it down.
  12. All bearings and seals come out of whatever is getting coated. As far as the bolt holes go, that is personal preference. I always have the powder coat sprayed over all bolt holes. Then just go over them with a tap. If you plug the bolt holes the powder has a tendency of building up around the thread plug and leaving an inconstant coating. As far as the steering stem goes, remove the seal, bearing retainer(hex thing), bearing and the stem spacer. Just show the powder coat shop where the steering stem bearing goes, they will know what yo do from there.
  13. I want a pic of the front bumper please
  14. From my experience, once a stock cylinder starts getting up it the 70+ hp range, they start becoming a pile if shit in the bottom end making them not so hot to trail ride. Im not saying stock cylinders making 70+hp cant have good bottom end, i just never saw or rode one that did
  15. You can see clearly in the pics cable locks are not included, as far as the slide springs go, you should of asked if they were included. On the flip side of things, just because a member doesn't have a high post count doesn't mean he has to stay quite if he is unhappy with a sale. JMO!
  16. Its a clean nice bike. I wouldn't let it go for anything under 3k. Id say if your patient, you should be able to get 3500.00 or so. At least thats pa prices
  17. I run a full belly, swing arm, and just made a set of aarms skids. As mentioned above, its rocky here in pa. I sank way too much money in my turd to not try and do my best in protecting it.
  18. Im not much of a drinker, but old LMS might surprise ya's. rum and motorized vehicles=
  19. Your gonna regret it. Listen to the the smart people here. CR500. Best all around bike made.
  20. Lol! Buttcoon8tor! PaFucks will be in the motha fuckin house! Woohoo!!
  21. Hmmm. Looks like i have to order on now. Thanks for the pics brett
  22. You can? I thought you need like 4-1/2"s of clearance from the mounting point down. I only have like 3"s from my mounting point on the swing arm to my skid plate.
