  1. Thanks for all the good info! I like the idea of the original Rockets but they seem hard to come by. Maybe I'm not searching the proper places?
  2. Guys, I'm in the process of putting together a 421 Serval engine. I currently have T5's but I realize those aren't the best for this combo. I'm pretty much down to Pro Circuits, Sheerer SB or maybe R2's or original Rockets if I could find them. Which way should I go? Thanks!
  3. Looks great!
  4. I also have a 421 Serval that I'm getting ready to put together. I have Toomey T5's right now but I'll probably go with Pro-Circuits if I can strike a deal to buy some. From what I've read, Toomey's and CPI's favor the top end while the Serval is more of a low-mid performer.
  5. Are you talking about posting or shouting?

  6. OK, you've got my attention. How about some pics?
  7. Not a fan of the Rockstars but the Esky's look pretty good. I would get tires with a larger aspect ratio. The skinny's look kind of odd on a truck.
  8. Great experience buying from Josh, no problems whatsoever!
  9. omorrow I will unpack all of my new Banshee goodies, find out why the carb is leaking, install the new Pingle and maybe, just maybe, go for a ride!

  10. Perfect! I can Google with the best of them but sometimes even a Google search needs to be filtered by a knowledgeable human!
  11. OK, I see. So, if the needle and seat are leaking, the fuel will still come out of the drain hose but it will never make it high enough to flow out of the vent hose.
  12. Hey guys, is there an online source for part numbers for the Banshee? As an example, there's a Russian site for Mercedes and you can search any year, model, engine and vehicle system and get accurate factory part numbers. You can then search out the best prices for these factory parts or find equivalent aftermarket parts. Anything like this for us here? Thanks!
  13. So, a search brings up too many responses for "leak". I just have to ask. On the carb, there appears to be both a carb vent/overflow and a bowl drain controlled by a small screw in the bottom of the bowl. There is a slow, steady leak from the bowl drain tube. I tried opening and then snugging down the screw but it won't quit leaking. Is there a replacement screw or seal available? So I have to replace the whole bowl? Thanks!
  14. Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored...

  15. These guys make a complete 2 stroke kit and it might be worth a look: http://www.ecotrons.com/2_Stroke_Small_Engine_EFI_kit.html
  16. OK great, thanks. Today was the first time I had gotten down under the front and given it a good look.
  17. I was looking at the frame today and I just noticed that the lower tubes are not even and straight. The right tube runs forward and inward toward the center line then takes a turn to run straight forward. The left tube simply runs forward at an angle to the area where the tubes join. Is this normal or did mine take some sort of hit? Thanks!
  18. Happiness is getting Banshee parts in the mail!

      Oh! Oh! More stuff today!

  19. skinraptor, love those "beater with a hot engine" swaps! Mine is not a hot rod in the original sense but it is modified significantly. Stealthy... No one would expect this under the hood: Prototype 7.5mm injection pump elements. Adjusted to 400 HP. Capable of 600+ HP. (I don't have dyno sheets yet so don't ask...) Custom 3 angle injector nozzles. H&R performance springs. Bilstein sport shocks. Yet to be installed: Eaton M90 supercharger. Holset HX40 turbo feeding SC. Performance electric fuel pump. Hideaway gauges:
  20. OK, I'll be the first to say: Welcome!

  21. Great, thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know.
  22. I have a bad habit of fabricating stuff like that myself...
  23. I tried searching for "2 into 1" and the system rejects it so I have to ask. What size carb would work on the Serval with a 2 into 1 intake? Thanks!
  24. OK, that was wierd... The BHQ icon turned into a red "B" for a bit then back to the original one...

  25. That's some beautiful country! I would have a couple concerns - lots of steep trails with loose rock which seems like there would be lots of clutch slipping and messing around to get a Banshee through. Also, are there open trails big enough for larger trucks?
