  1. ive asked someone with a 10mm wampus (465) which pipe he liked better on his bike (bb or sb) and he said the small bores were more consistent/felt better with his motor. i personally love how my shearers small bores feel in the band on my bike. pipes sound nasty too
  2. take lid off air box and snorkel. throw in 27.5 pilots and 280 main jet in each carb. your good for the summer. bump up to 300 in winter. that should give you a excellent starting place for your mods elevation ect. plug chop to make sure jetting is correct
  3. i heard that the hush kits dont do shit and personally i dont like the look of them. rock them toomeys like they should be! save the $ that you would spend on that and get your cylinders ported if u have not done so already
  4. i am also posting pics for dozer
  5. with some swearing i got them on but they do perform pretty well if i dont say so myself. i like them
  6. I can 2nd this post. Mine fit pretty good also. Hey man did your stingers come very close If not touching the frame in the rear?

  11. is the cross over tube connected inbetween the 2 carbs?
  12. i have got some stuff from them through ebay. everything went smooth and just as described. HOWEVER that is a 29L/R wang crank.... stay away!
  13. free bump for a sick bike!
  14. have you rode the 98 piped bike yet? you might wanna exchange your stock pipes with the pro circuits! and jet accordingly. then sell the 98
  15. def go 4 mil without a doubt. depending on what you want the bike to do and what you are going to do with the bike will decide the next part. a correctly setup 4 mil ported stock cylinders bike is alot of fun. set up is key!! we need more info on the type of riding you do and what you want the bike to do
  16. So far so good man. Trust me get some pipes and jet it with air lid and snorkel off. You will be happy you did
  17. I've used the same krylon fusion spray paint before. It came out pretty damn good. Like you said its gonna get scratches on it ect. I would highly suggest getting pipes, after market air filter, take lid off and jet correctly. It will wake up the bike pretty good.
  18. Shearers are great pipes I love them. You can't run the air box with the shearers. You have to use pods. However I have heard of people modding the air box (cutting the sides off ect) to make them fit. Not sure how great it looks ect because I went with pods. Also you may have the pipes be custom built to run the airbox. You will have to get in touch with him for better answers
  19. since you have to do the top end without a doubt get it ported to what you want the bike to do. call kev at hjr. his porting is top notch and his turn around time is excellent. porting is the best bang for your buck like kev said. it will make the bike ALOT more power, true and weld the crank, pancake bearing, exhaust, filters ect if you havnt done that already. i had kevin do my porting and this is what i have to say about it...... absolutely amazing work

  23. replace with new intake boots, gaskets and choke cross over tube inbetween the carbs. clean carbs while your down there. make sure borth carbs have a 270 main jet in them if you have a aftermarket exhaust. make sure lid is off air box and that you have a after market air filter like a k&n or prodesign. 270 main will work great in the summer with a bike that has aftermarket exhaust , air box lid off aftermarket airfilter and if your elevation is below 2000ft. this is considering your cylinders are not ported. this should get you on the right track. no dont buy a jet kit. its not needed. remember to bump your mains up in the winter. fyi the best thing you can do after all this is done is a plug chop and look at the plugs. a leakdown test is also very important
