Yeah i've got a billet impeller. Thinking about gettin an ESR inline temp gauge. Rode it around today for a while(10° cooler then the other day) and nothing came out. Coolant was full after the first time also. As for clutch issue i played with the cable and it only wants to grab/move if you rev it pretty high now so i might leave it and see if anything changes

Hey guys. Recently rebuilt my whole engine and have probably 5-10 hours on it. Just putts in around in the field getting on it now and then plugs look good after about an hour. Decided to try some plug chops. First attempt I got to 4th wide open, held throttle and killed it and coasted to a stop. Warmed bike up on older plugs first*. Pulled plugs and they looked brand new. My field is about a qtr mile, is that long enough or do i need to find somewhere longer? This is my setup: -Stock engine bored .030 over -Stock head and stroke -+4 timing -FmF fatties/PC 2 -Boyeson Power Reeds -Uni pods w/ outerwears -Stock carbs -27.5 pilot -320 mains -needle one clip below middle(rich side) -airscrew 1.5 turns out. -Tors deleted and synced with sync tool Elavation is 900' and 65° right now. Any advice would be nice. Airscrew is mainly for idle mixture correct?

Coolant tank wasn't full either, half empty.

Haha i guess so. I played with the adjustment at the perch and helped a little but you can still feel it move when you give it more throttle. Also i rode it around for 10min and parked it in garage, coolant was dripping from the coolant tank hose, not sure what would cause this? Its running kind fat so not sure??

Yea new clutch from Fast with new springs. New actuator arm,old rod and ball. New cable and lever. Only 4-5 hrs on whole engine/clutch.

I agree, wondering if i should try a new perch/lever. Bought a cheapo that's on there right now. Clutch pulled in all the way give it gas you can feel it pulse/wanna grab. Not sure if i need to adjust pancake bearing again? Any advice guys? Thanks!

When clutch lever is in all the way and rev it up bike moves a little, couple inches, doesn't lurch just rolls. There's about 1/4" slack in lever and arrows on cases are lined up. Any suggestions. Brand new clutch plates from fast, stock basket and hub. No bumps on fingers or basket. Less than 5 hours on bike.

I have uni pods, fmf fatties pc2s, stock carbs, +4 timing at 900ft with 27.5 pilots, one clip below middle and its about 40-50 degrees in michigan. I started with 300 mains and WOT plug chop showed pretty lean so im at 320 now and haven't done a second chop, i will this weekend. Leakdown was good and 125 on both for compression. Hope this helps?

CDI and volt regulator bolt to back under seat, coil is under gas tank. Plug in your stator and everything kinda falls into place. Just zip tie away.from moving parts and exhaust. Fill up all fluids check compression and leakdown check spark and kick it!

Ok cool ill check that other one in the next couple days. Why would one smoke more or have more pressure out the exhaust?

Yeah rebuilt top end too. Everything's brand new! Stock head. I heard 120-130 is normal for stock?

Yea i cleaned carbs for quite a while. Brand new air screws and jets. Floats are at 20mm. I also have+ 4 timing.
