Hey guys putting my motor together and bought a new woodruff key.from the dealership and it had what looked to be a triangle stamped into it which caused one side to have a tiny bump not allowing it to sit properly on the crank so i bought another, with the same result. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Then measure the thickness of the solder with a dial indicator? So after you do a top end(im doing a full rebuild and am going by the manual)you would check for squish? And im still not sure what exactly that's measuring, faulty rod bearings? Crank issues?

Nice. I just got done talkin to jeff at FAST and im.going to get the star,modded shaft and EZ spring when i order my pro lites. Would i be safe adjusting my shaft now(the claws ) check for proper shifting and seal the cases or wait for the new parts.

Bend it at a 90* so it gets squished on the edge of the plug hole? What if your squish is out of spec?

Do the stainless bolts need to be torqued differently? If so what is the difference.

Good thing i found this,in th's process of rebuilding my engine just about have the bottom.end done.just have to adjust tranny and seal her up. So you guys suggest a billet impelled and.mulls gear? How much would these run and wheres a good place to get impellers. Sorry for hyjackin this thread btw.

Took my clutch off to put in a new KG kit. I have heard some.people talk about grooving. Mine has little humps they are not huge but you can feel them what kind of issues can this cause if any. It is the original clutch off an 02 so it was ready for a refresh. Will i be ok running this basket?

Are all primary drive gears the same? Checked all the part numbers and they're the same with no options. Manual says that you need to check the number on the gear to make sure.it has the proper lashes to work with the clutch gear. Any insight would be apprciated before i fork over$ 40 to the dealer. Nice! Well looks like ill have to undo a bunch of stuff and apply anti seize lol. Yea the rotor bolts don't work. Either do the ones that came on my hubs( bought used) they are the rounded allen's. They hit the caliper when going around, should i find bolts or rotors. The wife has an 06 and her rotor bolts are flat and looks like the rotor is recessed where the bolt goes?
