  1. Hey guys just put my bike back together after powdercoating frame rebuilding bottom end and top end. Bike started 3rd kick and used sync tool to get carbs idling the same. The left pipe smokes more and has more pressure coming out. Leakdown test was good and right side compression is at 120.. cant get my tester to fit left, will check soon tho with a buddies tester. Altitude is 900', is it normal for one to smoke more or have more pressure? Second is no matterwhich way i adjust it my lower coolant hose that goes to the pump is up against my pipe (fmf fatty ). What needs to be done so i don't burn my coolant hose. Third. I have a sync tool from Fast and i know that tors delete screws adjust idle and carb tops adjust mid/hi range syncing. Do i just hold at half throttle and adjust so both numbers are the same? Tried it once real quick and they maxed out the sync tool?? Bike setup. Stock stroke, bored .030 over with prolites. 27.5 pilots. 300 mains. Stock carbs and uni pods. Fmf fatties with pc2's. True and welded crank from fast. New clutch with medium springs. Should my clutch lever be pretty stiff since its new? Adjusted lever and arrows match on case. Also.fighting my stock carrier/chain adjustment. Thanks guys appreciate the help! Nick
  2. Hey guys. So I got ahold of them finally and he told me to send the rods back and hell exchange them no problem for the+ 2s. I sent them out March 6th and it took 3 days to get there. I've tried calling him multiple times and sent him a few emails, no response. I spent over$ 100 on these and am just about done with my build. What do you think I should do? Anyone live by there that could stop by for me? Lol. Pretty frustrating when you try to get ahold of a company for over a month with no response. Thanks! Nick

  4. I think were going red and black. Should i do black frame, a arms, swinger, and seat with red plastics and hubs with black rims? Thinking this might be my second bike now, wife wants a smaller(slower,utility type bike now lol) Is there any alternative to carriers but still use a stock swinger?
  5. Or a tealish blue with white or black plastics, wife's bike and she cant decide on colors.
  6. Hey guys just getting ideas for my next build. Thinking of a fire hydrant red frame and hubs with black swinger, +3 arms and black wheels. What color plastic should i do? Red? Is there a carbon fiber white available? Any guys have pics to help out? Thanks. Ill be throwing in some billet mainly engine and bolts. Will be getting a 4 mill also with gnarlys. Thanks! ill start a thread once i have an idea on.colors

  8. Got mine at a local shop$ 18 each. Still need outerwears. Just got straight ones ur cylinders are on an angle so the pods will be parallel with the ground. 44mm for stock carbs
  9. Hey guys, finishing up my engine ansmd should be able to fire it up mid next week once my wrist pin bearings come in. What mains should I start out with? -27.5 pilots -FMF fatties/pc 2s -Stock carbs w/ tors delete -Floats at 20mm -900ft elevation -1.5 on air screws -have carb sync tool -Uni foam pods. Temps are about 40-50*F here in northern michigan right now was thinking of starting with 300 mains. I also have Boyesen Power Reeds. Thanks guys!

  11. Looking for a nice taillight lens, swingarm main bolt, stock carb clamps(reed side clamps) steering stem with plastic bushing, fmf exhuast clamps. Thanks
  12. Havin the same issue switched to yfz450 master and calipers. Where do you find a vaccum bleeder? Auto store?
  13. Ok thanks guys for the advice, 4mill then port it is. What cranks are most using hot rods? Those come welded? If I use a spacer plate i can still use the stock head from what i have read. I am at 900ft for elevation, 20cc domes work alright?
  14. Ha sorry thought you were havin trouble puttin them in but if they slide in and out that's not good lol but yeah get pivot works.
  15. Freeze the bearings for a couple hours should slide in easier don't hammer them in. Pivot Works has nice ones.

Hey guys i have another build im starting soon, id like to build this engine a little more than the one i just finished- stock engine and carbs, +4 timing, reeds,fmf pipes/silencers, bored .60 over. The next one i am thinking 4mill or get it trail/play ported. Which would be the best bang foe my buck and reliable for trails. 4mill require new or shaved head, bigger base gasket and a 4mill welded crank? Anything else? thanks
  17. Yes +2 banshee rods are what you want. Really should be using yfz spindles and brakes if your doing the swap but should just buy+ 2 banshee arms... my opinion though.

  23. How are you guys telling what your bike is idling at and what is the right range of rpm's?
