i run 1/4 mile, if your just starting out, start with chassis before you go horsepower. You will spend enough just on a back rest, wheelie bar, tires on wheels, suspension setup, gearing, tire pressures and this is just the begining. Take a pen and paper everytime you race and start recording info on your pressures and setups along with 60 ft times, and temperatures. It is alot of fun but it takes more than one person to keep you moving forward on a asphalt track. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I live in Michigan, where you located?
