  1. heres my ride
  2. anyone run 1/4 mile without a radiator? Is it possible to make a pass without if im on alcohol?
  3. i run 1/4 mile, if your just starting out, start with chassis before you go horsepower. You will spend enough just on a back rest, wheelie bar, tires on wheels, suspension setup, gearing, tire pressures and this is just the begining. Take a pen and paper everytime you race and start recording info on your pressures and setups along with 60 ft times, and temperatures. It is alot of fun but it takes more than one person to keep you moving forward on a asphalt track. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I live in Michigan, where you located?
  4. 2 hours and 15 minutes north
  5. 1/4 mile, munciedragway.com race from 630 to 1200 a.m.
  6. what about gears? I will double check on my tire size for sure. It seems to run really good the length of the track, not like i should be concerned about power,(timing curves, dome cuts)????
  7. im using a 17 front and 40 rear and can not get any better than 12 sec. at 105 mph this is from a 16 front and 41 rear. I was at 13 sec and 104/103 mph I didnt get much gain but I was running short 40 yard before the finish line where now I am not, it doesnt seem to be running out of gear like before but I figured I would get more than 1 or 2 mph with the sprocket change. Any help is greatly appreciated. 421 cub on alcolhol, 20x10x10 rear wheels with 107 hp
  8. Come to test and tune friday night from 5:00 to 11:30 at U.S. 131 martin motorsportspark. Very nice track and must have the gear to ride, snell approved helmet, leather or kevlar jacket and pants, boots over ankles, gloves, and a chain guard that goes over the chain. Good times, we went 3 weeks ago and are going this friday, just looking to run somthing other than bikes.
  9. it doesnt matter
  10. try 160 mains and 50 pilots, clip in middle. That helped me alot
  11. i will try and get some pics on here tomm.
  12. I dont sell anything else!!!! dont feel im doing my customers any justice selling them somthing that isnt good
  13. Be nice if someone in Michigan could get that started up here!
  14. pipes and carbs are killing ya!!!
  15. threebond 1107, thats all ive ever used and never have i had a problem
  16. Call Rob at RDZ, i like my transmission and i can shift either way with what he did to mine, and it is a full overide
  17. just what it says, comes with adapter plate for and with the K&N filter. Anyone interested? I just bought pwk's and have no use for this
  18. riding like normal, cruising down the road, rippiing on it going down my lane on my 80 acre farm, then just shutting it off, no i didnt shut fuel off until im done riding, and throttle position would be 1/4 or a little past to wide open. I figured i would go down 1 more pilot jet(started at 42-too lean) went to 50 (once shut off i had to change plugs to start) now at 48 pilots and it takes a few kicks but it will start for the most part. I figured i would try I think the next step down is 45 or 46 and see if it kicks over better, and if that doesnt help then maybe I should buy a CDI box and start over
  19. Ok, runs good, a little studder while your riding when i go from running at a constant speed to stabbing the gas??? it comes out of that and runs hard, like i said that isnt terrible, it idles good, but when i shut it off it wont start unless i change the plugs???????why?
  20. Blew carbs out completely, put 160 mains and 50 pilots and it idles nice, and runs really good. Plugs dont look to bad, maybe a tad on light side but not by much at all, any suggestions on how I should richen up a tad? Thanks for all your help, It was much appreciated from the homemade leakdown tester, to the purchase of these 28 pwk's to the jetting. It all worked out pretty good so far. Everyone have a safe and great weekend-----ride fast and hard!!!
  21. call rob at RDZ(site sponsor) my tranny is done by him and its an override but i can downshift when neccesary, its awesome.
  22. I did a leakdown test, thank you to the guys who showed how to make one. I made one and only lost less than 1/2 lb in six minutes time. I now know that its a carb issue so ive ordered a few different pilots and mains to start jetting the carbs correctly.
  23. how do you do that? is there more tools i need?
