  1. Im planning on running primarys, Not sure about dcalso2? Why? will the load kill that brg?
  2. Your list sounds just like I have just done today. I just got Dan at A&S to deliver my stock cyl's that he drag ported and case ported to match , 4 mil trued and welded crank, noss head with cut domesw for alky, and he suggested a set of 39mm keihin carbs with fuel pump, so I got those also from him. Your setup and mine sound close except for me(alky) you (gas). Im gonna run the v force and cpi inframes also. I think we will have some hard running machines. I dont know as if I have anymore ideas for you ,but if you come up with anything else please let me know.
  3. chrome or black? nice? how much?
  4. Anything for sale out there?
  5. Off subject, but I just joined this site as a member. Thanks everyone for the sweet support this site carries.
  6. I planned on it,Im going to become a member soon. Good looking out for this site. This is a great place to learn and talk with people about this sport, best site out there in my opinion
  7. I wonder if this is too much for a full drag 4mill? I was thinking 12 and never gave 14 a thought
  8. Yes my sona nd I are planning on taking the ATV class, All he has for a atv is a 96 banshee I built for him last year. He started out on a PW80 then he went to a YZ80 and then wanted to get into ATV's so Since I have been out of the banshee world for about 11 years I figured it was time to get back into the sport. So I built him a stock port, stock hotrods crank with v force reeds,28 pwks and a billet head bike. I bought a 2004 last fall that the guy that bought the banshee never rode the thing, it sat in his grandfathers barn so I bought it for 1500 bucks. The cylinders, top case, and tranny is at dans shop A&S racing now and I will be picking those items up this thursday. He is drag porting the cylinders, im getting a billet head to run alcohol, 4 mill crank with tz installed, trans just modified to shift better where he will take out everyother dogg out, and a set of 39 mm carbs setup for me. Hoping for 96 to 98 at rear wheels when done on inframe CPI's. Its been awhile since Ive been into these things and forgot how much money it takes to move fast. Im getting excited since I havnt been to the dunes and done some dragracing in a long time. I currently race a 421 cub on 1/4 mile asphalt and that is definately different but it still not sand. Im looking forward to meeting you and your friends and have some good times riding and racing
  9. One 38 MM TMX Mikuni carb, good working order, with carb comes 15 different sized jets. $100.00
  10. I dont know as of yet when were going, but my son is thirteen now and hes a good rider so im planning on making a few trips this summer with him. We will have to keep in touch with each other and try to hit the same weekends to have some fun.
  11. fouledout, keep me in the loop, as to I have never been anywhere but silverlake for dunes. I would love to go somewhere else
  12. gasmask34 bought this, but if he doesnt pay by friday I will let you know so you could purchase. I will let you know either way.

  13. Sure do, What we used to do was put our drag banshees in the back of truck and drive into dunes then unload them, they never checked them if theyre in the back of a truck. And yes it sucks that we have to go through all of this to ride in the sand!
  14. I thought about shoving a roll of steel wool inside each sparky that i clamp on too lower db noise and then once in remove them so my quad dont run like shit
  15. I know they used to be that way, Im just wondering when i put cpi inframes and ill put those clamp on spark arrestors on if i will be able to ride in or will i have to drive it in , in the back of my truck and then unload it? My main concern is the decibal limit, if newly packed silencers would pass their test or not?
  16. I still have the pistons and head and new gasket if interested
  17. Anyone run cpi inframes with their silencers and able to ride into silver lake? or do you have to truck it in like we used to do 13 years ago? Thats how long ive been out of the banshee world!! Time to get back into the swing of things
  18. Take all of those back and buy a forklift, Thats what I use and it works perfect. Ill post a pic later, you can adjust the height so you can stand under it if you want to. Its slick
  19. drain oil out of bottom, plug off the radiator overflow hose, pull carbs and reeds out and sparkplugs, then flip over and move kickstarter to help get fuel out of bottom of cases. Use an airhose to help blow air into bottom end to dry out the excess fuel that is left inside. Flip back over and reinstall and fill cases back tranny fluid
  20. anymore pics yet? throw some chrome on it and thats gonna be nice
