Well I just found out that one of my two brand new carbs had a smaller main jet in it..... the side that would rev up when i would put my hand on the carb to choke it out had a 135 main jet, where the other side had a 140 jet in it. So im pretty sure this is a good part of my problem. Im gonna order jets and pilots tomm. But does ANYBODY know about these LG N needles? should I order somthing different?

Ok heres what ive got: stock crank +4 timing advance coolhead with 22 domes v force 3 reeds 28 pwk carbs with LGN needles in center clip, 140 main jet, 42 pilots im at 800 above sealevel bored 60 over stock cylinders,no port job 155 lbs compression-brand new engine I know I probably need to bump up my jets to 155 or 160, with 42 pilots but i havnt made it that far yet. My problem now is I fired it up for about 5 minutes today and it seems good but the idle will start to get radical on me and i have to shut it down. What ive found out is when i cover the back of the left side carb(no filters on it yet)it starts to die out-----when I cover the right side carb intake it starts to rev to the moon(fast) then its out of control and I will hit the kill switch...????????Why is it doing this???Please help , Thank you in advance.

figuring out my jetting , but what about needles????I have some LGN that came in my pwk 28's are these good to use?

thanks for the help, i tore into the carbs and they have 140 mains with 42 pilots with LGN needles. My mods are: stock crank, 60 over forged wiseco pistons,v force 3 reeds, +4 timing, T-5 pipes and silencers and at 0 elevation. I purchased the carbs from parts unlimited just because im a dealer through my work.

Ive got t-5 pipes and silencers,, coolhead with 22 cc domes, and v-force 3 reeds, +4 timing plate just bought 28 pwks. but do they come right from keihin already for the banshee with the correct needles, mains and circuits? I havnt tore into them yet too find out what they put in them. I will post later so then maybe someone can help lead me in right jetting and needle direction. Also are these domes gonna work well with what i have or should i get a different set?

I just purchased a set of v-force and a set of 28pwk's. Stock crank,60 over pistons,+4 timing, and 22 domes in my cool head, also toomey T-5 pipes. What needle and jet kit should I purchase or what should I use to get close here in Michigan with no elevation?

any info out there on the wiring for a banshee other than the clymer manual? All i want is simple, spark, and lights. Any help is appreciated. also what is the gap suppost to be for the pickup to the flywheel?

also whats the difference between the 34 PJ carbs and the 28PWK/39PWK carbs? I seen in a partsunlimited book these carbs and was wondering what you you get? a 28 carb or a 39 carb??? Anyone have a set of carbs that work great let me know

Hi everyone, Ive got a stock crank, .60 over cylinders that are not ported other than by someone who is not an engine builder so they didnt take much out, thinking about v force reeds and a set of ???? please post your suggestions on carb size and jetting and needles, everyrthing needed to run at sealevel elevation, Im here in Michigan.

Ive got 22x10x10 racers, going 1/4 mile. How much tire pressure in front and rears? any help is appreciated, thanks

I just purchased a set of cases from a guy in detroit, Is there any way to tell if the cases are a matched set and not a couple different motors put together?
