  1. Got a buddy whos goin through the same thing, let me know what you find out
  2. Anyone ever ride the Big O and Little O trails?
  3. Cadillac here, ton of places to ride
  4. I ride open trails to, but the +4 unless your super wide does effect cornering and overall handling, also depending on aggressiveness of your tires you can get tippy in high speed corners.... Just my experience...... If you like trails run a +2 if you like dunes run +4
  5. I'm still leaning towards cold seizure or an airleak, check to make sure the rings on the brown side are all there.. if not I bet a chunk was floating around on top making your knocking sound before it was forced out of the exhaust, then too check your pipe for debree, and make sure you do leak down before you run it again after assembled
  6. K I'm posting this from my phone so I appoligize for incorrectly spelled stuff, the phone does it for me half the time.... And its not usually what I meant.
  7. IMO anything larger than +2 singer in trails is not good, +4 is for the dunes more than trails......if your building a trail bike, i would stick with a +2 it stocker, anything over is just hard to trail
  8. I have a aggressive trail port on my bike, and I run T5's, I wouldn't have it any other way
  9. I would use wiseco pro lites, check the cylinders for out of round while you have it apart, honing will not solve this problem
  10. Well if he didn't let it warm up and just went rippin, he probably caused a "4 corner seizure" or didn't gap rings properly........take the jugs off look at the pistons and cylinders look for scarring if you find any I'd almost bet its what happened, then all you can do is rebuild
  11. Cascade innovations, or rockymountainatv
  12. Well I've got boyeson pro reeds and no stops, never had a problem, I got a small brass plate with my reeds that screws in overtop of the reeds to hold them in place, I also have ported cages an never had an issue
  13. Basically the heat range on a plug doesn't mean it burns hotter or colder per number, its the plugs ability to dissipate heat from the cylinder
  14. Thought about it, but then the woman would have nothing to ride, oh by the way some here might know me as wideopenracing on other sites.... Thanks for the welcome
  15. Names Bob, live in northern michigan, ride a ported 05 Banshee SE...I like trails an hillclimbing and know plenty of places to ride both, I'm currently building a 1986 suzuki lt250r, having trouble finding parts or it would be done.....
  16. Well is it worth a new engine for an old bearing, I replace them everytime just to play it safe.
