  1. Your squish is to big What fuel? Shouldnt have that much timing with compression so low. Sounds like you have the wrong base gasket or domes
  2. I am selling these for someone since he is going to a cub.. this is a good running setup, trail type of porting. it made 63hp on the dyno with stock carbs. the cylinders are at 66mm and domes are 22cc. stock crank and weisco pistons. pics to come all of it shipped for 550$
  3. not really going to help performance since banshee's don't really have a lot of overheating problems if they are jetted right porting, reeds, pipes, properly setup domes, and timing plate are going to help performance
  4. intake port wont do a whole lot but I guess its a good start... do you understand port time and blow down?
  5. well.... that's not gonna work a crank is 400, pistons 175, bore 100 and there goes your budget then a head, even a cut one 100, gaskets 35, porting 250, oil seals 30, pancake bearing 45, billet basket 200, asdjustable timing plate 50 maybe your not building a 4mil?
  6. I like using the orings over stock head gaskets, just a preference I guess but you will have to have the head cut by someone and that will cost you almost as much as a good coolhead. then you still have to buy the domes though...
  7. no just a mild port job to match the cranks longer stroke if that's all you want, even if its just pump gas it needs to be set up for that
  8. port the cyls get a coolhead with the right domes for your elevation, fuel, and pipes 4 mil crank (hotrods) 795 series weisco pistons pancake bearing billet clutch basket adjustable timing plate jet the carbs and keep a clean air filter that's a good start on what you will want to keep it together
  9. If you got into the mid 6's you would be doing pretty good imo
  10. Did you go with oem stator and cdi? If your near long island sleeper06 can get it right for ya
  11. Usually the only way is to bore it til the damage is gone or resleeve it. Standing by for pics.
  12. Check your pickup gap and open the air screw to 3 turns and see if that helps. Stock reeds?
  13. Go down on main jets. Try a 155 Also check the flywheel pickup gap @ .018"
  14. report back with jetting and check your flywheel pickup gap and spark plug caps. a weak spark will cause fouling plugs
  15. Has anyone had a cyl thats been overheated and pulls out heilicoil too?
  16. Id start with 48 pilot jjh needle middle clip and 155 main.
  17. Check squish. Someone may have mixed and matched?
  18. Motivational tubing or turbo chassis Have you looked? There are different kinds of "drag" spindles. Maybe you could be more specific?
  19. If its a cub, likely for drag racing. Prob need to see if exhaust port has been raised to see if its real aggressive.
  20. Id go with a 21cc dome unless you gwt it ported then a 20cc Keep in mind your crank would be better off if it was trued and welded if you plan on putting more stress on it.
