  1. It wont change the timing that much, but should give you maybe 5hp or so on the top end. While you're at it, you can widen the port by about 1-2mm on each side. You can raise the corners of the exhaust port roof about 1-2mm more than the center, essentially making it flatter. Kinda like this:
  2. Not sure. Possibly to reduce cranking compression. Or maybe broaden the powerband
  3. What do you think about this exhaust port shape?
  4. So without running a lockup/ super aggressive tires, would it be worth running race gas on a duner (would I be able to get the extra HP to the ground)?
  5. Yeah im not talking all out drag frame etc. Like your average stock cylinder bike with a drag port n alky
  6. It's gonna be a 7 mill cub. Probably 50/50 dunes/drags I know it's not going to be the fastest but if I am faster than sa a fully drag ported stock cylinder bike I would be content
  7. It was a helluva deal lol. I had to hurry and get my money back out the bike so momma didn't bite my head off. Still got a full roller including plastics, an extra full set of sand tires, tranny/ cases/ clutch/ ignition and a set of 35 flatslides with filters and billet intakes for my cub build. I got the thing for a steal
  8. So you are saying that window size is more important then runner size?
  9. On, for example, a 4 mil serval/ cub.... What kind of difference in HP can you expect going from pump gas domes to race gas domes?
  10. Cool
  11. Are you talking about a flat roof with the exception of radiused edges? If so what would the minimum radius be with, say, a 75% port? Pics?
  12. Crank and cylinders still up for sale, will sell the set for $250 and will throw in the bumper for free you just pay the ride
  13. Thanks. I was gonna say the same thing lol.
  14. No. The crank and cylinders were never ran..... The guy that put it together used standard pistons and they smacked the head first kick. So he tore it down to inspect everything and proceeded to sell me the bike. I am selling everything that doesn't coincidenwithba 7mill cub build
  15. Thanks and sorry brother I don't at the moment
  16. And what about roof shape? How flat is too flat
  17. 75%?
  18. Its fairly common knowledge that the transfer ports quickly become the bottleneck once you've opened the exhaust up so much. My question is, is the main botttleneck at the windows or in the runners?
