  1. They are stock stroke small bore race gas domes. Wondering if the added stroke will turn them into alky domes..?
  2. I think it's $30-40. If you wanna sell me yours PM me and I may snatch it up
  3. Not trying to be a total cheap ass, if I NEED to spend money I will but like I said I have a YXZ1000R turbo build going on too. Gotta cut some corners
  4. The right angle bits I have are a little too big to fit in A 65mm bore properly. And I don't really heve $300-$400 to spend on tools. my tools fit good enough to drop the transfer floors, open up the exhaust, intake and transfer runners. its $30 bucks for a spacer and bam I have my transfer duration where it needs to be not to mention I may be able to save money on domes since I already have small bore domes
  5. Putting together a 4 mill stock cylinder. Going to use a spacer. I know it's not ideal, I know, I know. I am wanting to run my 18cc small bore pump gas domes if possible. Question 1: are these domes set up for zero deck height? Question 2: If so, since the crank gives me 2mm (.080") extra stroke each way, I need a spacer/ gasket combination that will give me a total of .100" between the cylinder and cases, correct? I'm trying to figure out which spacer kit to buy off eBay.
  6. I heard the 4's and 2's make roughly the same power with 3's lagging behind some
  7. And for the record, this is not my first set of jugs I've cut on. I've ported 2 LT80 jugs, about 5 blaster jugs, and one other set of banshee jugs. I'm not gonna say I didn't fuck up about 2 of those, lol. But it's because I got in a hurry. Not because of lack of knowledge. I try to research and make a plan before I start cutting
  8. What tools do you use to get into the transfer windows bro?
  9. I don't have shit figured out! If so i wouldnt kep making these threads lol. But I CAN tell you it is much easier to lift the barrel than it is to raise all the transfer ports. I believe it was graham or maybe bell that recommended this for the novice DIY porter I have some 18CC small bore race gas domes laying around, I wonder if they will still work with this crank as long as I raise the cylinder...? Hmm
  10. I understand that. But to have close to the same blowdown as a set of tripples at 196 degrees, a lot will have to be done to widen and re shape the exhaust port and it will need to be raised as wel in my opinion. Hopefully there wont be much transfer work in this build and I can focus my very limited time on perfecting the exhaust ports.
  11. Ive done my fair share of junking cylinders lol. I feel good about this set. Can't hardly go wrong raising the cylinders as long as you have a degree wheel and keep an eye on squish and such. I got this holmes lol
  12. I would feel much more comfortable acheiving the desired transfer duration by raising the cylinder, since I dont have the skill/ PATIENCE to cut the transfer roofs myself. If I have to go more than 2mm to achieve this, I will deck the top of the cylinders to compensate. Got jokes now, do we CPI or shear. Probably CPI since I am also putting a turbo on my YXZ and I need to be a cheap ass. But seriously. ABOUT how much will i need to raise the cylinders/ ports to get to 126? Any clue? I do have a degree wheel but I'm wondering if I need to get a thicker spacer than 2mm to put me in the ballpark...?
  13. I'd rather just widen and drop them as not to alter any roof angles by mistake
  14. Because I would prefer not to touch the transfer port roofs if possible
  15. Okay I am getting a 4 mill crank 115 rod with long rod pistons for my stock cylinder banshee. I am going to port it myself but I would like to get the port timings as close to optimal as possible using spacer plates. The port timings I am after are roughly that of a driveline assasin HP cylinder. I realize I may need to go a little higher with my exhaust port to have close to the same blowdown as an HP cylinder. Looking for about 198/ 126-126 That said, off the top of anyones head can you tell me the approximate port timings on this engine using a 2mm spacer, a 2.5mm spacer, and a 3mm spacer. Thanks in advance
  16. Tires are like new. Nipples are barely worn off. Thinking $500 shipped for the entire set
  17. I have some 34 or 36 PJ carbs with filters jets throttle cables and pro design billet intakes. Hoping someone could tell me what size they are so I can price accordingly
  18. Yeah they do work surprisingly well. Those and pro circuits are often underrated
  19. Are the typical rotary stones ok to use on the tunnel windows or will it chip the nicasil?
  20. Go to the dyno room and look at the thread "random dyno chart and discussion. They dynoe'd a bike with a set of fatties and showed the effect of different mods
