  1. Thanks for the info. I'm in Tucson and have both been to Tim's shop and purchased A Arms and a Swingarm from him. Zero complaints, top notch work and a nice guy to boot. Extra bump for Sandman and Tim.
  2. The Revo is a BEAST! They are fun to drive and with the 3.3 they are really fast. You could probably even find some paddles for it so it would be even more fun in the sand. It looks all stock. Like Banshees there are tons of upgrades available. Well worth the $200, anyone who buys this will have a great time with it.
  3. Maybe I missed it but is that price shipped?
  4. I just checked Rockymountain and they have 4 G-Force GP Aluminum wheels for 152.00 with free shipping. Not too shabby.
  5. I just did this, twice. Both bikes went down to the frame, were powdercoated etc. I bought a couple boxes of zip lock bags from the dollar store, one small one regular, and used a sharpie to label everything. There are a few things it's easier to do with an extra set of hands, removing and reinstalling the motor and the swingarm, but everything else is simple enough. If you can get a table lift http://www.harborfreight.com/500-lb-capacity-hydraulic-lift-table-94822.html (or similiar) it will make it a lot easier on your back. If I can do it so can you.
  6. Another OLD topic brought back to life.
  7. I'm tempted to buy it but I don't want to spend that much money without knowing what it is.
  8. Is that price shipped? Have a title?
  9. Any chance you have a shift lever?
  10. What's next? You keep coming up with great new ideas! How big are the holes? Will they hold a beer? That is a Bad Ass Hole Seat!
  11. Welcome to the HQ!
  12. The way he has it set up he probably only rides on the street so suspension travel doesnt matter to him. Does the 450 have a different carrier that makes adjusting the chain easier?
  13. PM Sent, looks like I'm second in line.
  14. High compression would make it harder to kick but not be telling in any other way. Have fun in Vegas, you'll love both shows!
  15. What was/is the compression of the motor?
  16. X2 on the Tusk bulbs; easiest and cheapest way to get more light out of your Banshee
  17. If it was my ad I would strap the bike to the back of my truck and pull you around. You would have to promise to make Banshee engine noises while I was towing you.
  18. Well, everything that isn't welded to it needs to be off the frame. Steering stem bearings are sometimes overlooked. If you have access to a hand held grinder you can make the exposed welds look a lot better in just a few minutes. Same goes for the stock nerf bar mounts that most people don't use, you can cut them off for a cleaner look. Powdercoaters usually sandblast the frame first but even sandblasting is hindered by the greasy gunk that is on most frames. You can help your powdercoater by scraping all the thick goo off of the frame for them. I've had two frames powdercoated, one black the other white, and would do it again in a heartbeat. They look SOOOO good when they are done and are a lot more durable that anything you can do at home.
  19. Where is the dogbone in that picture, do you have a bigger pic?
  20. We're happy to have new people join, it happens almost every day, but don't say this is a bad site when multiple people have tried to help you.
  21. Jeez dude, don't blow a fuse. This is by far the best Banshee site on the web. If you don't know how to post pics ask. At least two people have offered to do it for you. If you can post one pic you can post ten. I was on your side until you started to whine and thtreaten to sell your stuff somewhere else.
  22. They usually consolidate the posts, not remove them. Bueller.... Bueller....
  23. I wore HJC helmets when I had a street bike and was very happy with them. let us know what you think of it.
  24. One thing no one has mentioned yet is weight. The cheaper helmets are heavier and can be a pain in the neck after a long day of riding. A helmet is the last place you want to skimp. Spend as much as you can afford on the helmet that fits you the best.
