  1. How much for the CDI and the stock coil?
  2. What about "plastic renew"?? I had a buddy that used it like 10+ years ago on his dirtbike after races, if I remember correctly it worked pretty good.... but I would like to see if anyone else has tried it since its been so long and my memry tends to be a little foggy. I did a quick search and found it for $18 http://www.amazon.com/PC-Racing-PC-1-PLASTIC-RENEW/dp/B000UK0EDS
  3. The best and easiest way to load pictures, is to upload them to somewhere like imageshack.com and then copy the link and paste it in here but make sure the is changed to and it will work just fine. As for your setup, I would just let it sit until you have all the new parts to rebuild it, since it sounds like the crank is starting to seperate. It seems like a waste to just put it back together just to blow it up and have a chance of damaging the cases even if you can get them for $300....but that's just my opinion. If it was me I would go the 4mil serval route, because the 4mil cub is just like a light switch, which most people don't like for trail riding, but I think it's a blast!!
  4. How does the airfilter connect to the airbox? Is it a stock style that only stays in place by the lid or is it a pro-design adapter plate setup? Here is a pic of what that looks like with the adapter plate... If you don't have the adapter plate, I would highly suggest you get one, because the factory setup is well known to let dirt get past it at the seal which will eventually burn up the topend. I don't really need my airbox, adapter plate or air filter so if you need it let me know.
  5. Klotz supertecniplate at 40:1....might try the klotz r-50 just to see what it smells like.
  6. Are you looking for stock shocks? If so, I have two set of 2004 front shocks that barely have any use on them at all. PM me if interested.
  7. I was told by Brandon at Wildcard that depending on your porting, you may be able to get a Cub to Serval specs by milling the bottom of the cylinder, but I unfortunately was unable due to the fact that I have a full drag ported Cub....but you never know, I would just give a call to one of the sponsors like HJR or FAST and see what they can do for you with what you have.
  8. I have a 421 cub with 35mm PWK and have found the following setup to be good.. 160 main, cel needle in 3rd clip, 48 pilot, air screw 1.75-2 turns out. (660ft elevation) and with this weather I bumped up the clip one notch and put it at 2.5 turns out and felt great, but it didn't like it when it was 70 and ALOT less humidity, but it was about 115 with heat index. I probably could have leaned out the main to a 155 and 45 pilot, but it was just too damn hot for me. Sleeper, I too am curious as to how the jetting on a 39mm compares to a 35mm PWK.
  9. How much for the stock CDI and coil?
  10. Weird, I was just thinking about how I haven't heard/read anything about the new Sniper pipes in awhile, and as soon as I look at the review section, I see this. Good to hear the bike picked up with the Sniper pipes...I have been thinking about getting a set for my cub, but wanted some personal reviews first.
  11. I would also think about trading for a set of Shearer small bore in-frame pipes or a set of haulers/extremes for my cub motored bike. I am not too sure what size I would need for the setup, but I am guessing 22/11/8 10-12 paddle??
  12. I did a quick google search and found this "I Called Pro Circuit and they said run 260 mains at sea level" and there was another guy running no lid and a K&N with 310 mains and 30 pilots...here is the link http://forums.atvconnection.com/yamaha/108068-banshee-pro-circuit-pipes-jetting.html
  13. 39mm PWK setup for alky by Dan Hull at A&S Racing. They were setup for my 421 cub. - $295 shipped Stock carbs, have a bunch of main jets and will put whatever size needed in them before shipping. - $50 plus shipping and paypal Stock airbox with K&N and adapter, also comes with the lid, it just insn't in the pictures. - $75 plus shipping and paypal
  14. x3 on the leakdown test, it is cheap, easy, and a good starting point so you don't fry the new pistons from running lean again. Both my Banshees leaked at the reed gaskets and the intakes, one has stock intakes with crossover and the other has UPP intakes and both of them leaked pretty bad. There is a thread on here on how to make one, it's very easy and adds peace of mind. Out of curosity what was the jetting in the carbs? Keep us posted.
  15. I'm about 40minutes outside of chicago and I have a 421 cub, mods in sig, but it's basically the same setup as you and I have 155main, 48 pilot, cel needle on the 3rd clip and the plugs look good. I just don't have the compression that you have, but I think you will have a very good starting point with all the jetting advice that was given already.
  16. Front spacers and stock axle still for sale.
  17. Cylinders are sold.. Still have stock heads, boost bottles, carbs, airbox with K&N and adapter plate.
  18. I was just going to include the stock pistons and new rings for free, but cash talks so make me an offer.
  19. Bump...still have the cylinders, head, pistpns, stock carbs and airbox with K&N and adapter plate and more stock parts...pm me if you are looking for something
  20. I have a set of stock cylinders that have not been touched, still stock bore and no porting, they have very few hours on them. The only reason I am selling them is because they came off to put a set of ported cylinders on. I still have the stock pistons and a new set of rings to go with the cylinders. I also have 3 stock heads for sale, I will try to get pics of them tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Cylinders with stock pistons and new rings - $295 shipped Stock head - $25 plus shipping each
