  1. so no opinions on the price? is 2900 a good deal for all the mods? I am not too concerned with it being a fuel pig or having to purge it after every ride, just want to know what a Banshee with this level of mods is going for? I haven't seen many for sale setup like this.
  2. You think that shee is worth the 2900, even if I do decide to convert it to gas? I dont know what cc the domes are but I dont think it could have high enough compression that it couldnt be run on straight 116octane (C-16). I have used that stuff on a 16:1 sbf spraying 800+hp woth of nitrous with no problems to date.
  3. What do you think about the price and the Vito's setup? I have heard a few good things but more bad things about the Vito's stuff....Anyone in here have any experience with their products?
  4. Yeah, I know I that Keihns cant be converted back to gas, but most Mukuni's can be. I also did a quick look for 42mm, but the biggest I found was 38-41mm depending on if it is a PE, PWK, PJ. What is involved in purging the alky motor? Do you have to drain the tank and then run gas through the motor or can you leave the alky in the tank and then just run gas through the motor? Is anyone on here running a stroker Banshee on alky on the trails or at the Badlands in Indiana?? Thanks for all the replies guys, I appreciate it.
  5. here is the link, it looks like it's in pretty good condition... http://www.racingjunk.com/category/3608/Banshee/post/2042744/2002-yamaha-banshee-420cc-stroker.html also from the pic, it looks like a stock rear shock so I would assume that it has stock front shocks under the covers... I dont mind the fact that its going to burn twice as much fuel as if it ran on gas, but where can you get alky? is it the same as e85 or would I have to get it by the drum from a fuel supplier? I already have an unopened 54 gal drum of c-16 (116octane) for the racecar, which is gone now, so switching to race fuel is always an option. Is there any problems with running alky, like is it harder to tune or not good to ride when its cold out? I am familiar with blown alcohol injected big blocks but they were always drag cars running for less than prolly 20 seconds total with burnout and 1/4mi blast, and I have never been around quads on alky.
  6. Well first off I am new to the HQ, but I am not new to Banshees. I had my first Banshee when I was 13 and instantly began modifying it with T5's, twin K&N air filters, and a 15 tooth front sprocket. I am looking to get another Banshee but I have never bought with a lot of work done to it, or one that runs on alcohol, so that is why I am here to ask you guys what you think about the price, the mods (vitos crank and porting...etc) and any potential problems I may run into with a build like this. I really appreciate any and all input you guys have! Thanks UP FOR SALE IS A 2002 YAMAHA BANSHEE WITH A 420cc STROKER MOTOR WITH UNREAL POWER.
