  1. my buddy "Special06shee" told me they are better he had the v force 2's in his cub then I believe him he is not a bullshitter if he did not like them he would have said so to me at least .. he would not have posted it hear maybe but he would have said he was pissed to me..!!! I would like to try them as well but I'm not gonna jump out and buy them yet my 3's are new so I will run them for now but I would bet the 4's would be better how much I dont know. remember change is good people good or bad you always learn something new!!!!!
  2. serval or power vavle motor would help the tq of the shee but then you will still need to do the suspention on the shee to make it handle.. really it depends on what you want I had a good running ported r it ran good and was good on trails but it was not a shee so I got rid of it and modded my shee
  3. I was telling him the only place to get them locally.. they are right around 400 a set shipped to pa from most every one I called they are on a chin shin carcass 20x10x10 with 10 paddle stagger dominator is the name of the actual paddle they put on the tire they are a dirt bike paddle on atv carcass
  4. I'll send you a pm you can get them at gap racing for $500 a set they are the only ones I know that stock them. you can order them from anyone who sell skat trak tires tho
  5. Is there a resizing app for a iPhone ? The apps I played with won't let me resize it? If no I'll try to do it on the computer or have stumpy (Netbsd) do if for me he did the last one
  6. Hmm mine has 175k on it got it from a old guy that never done any mods to it tranny is still original.. I get 22mpg highway but towing only get 13-14 most of the time with a small landscape trailer and a few quads? Wonder if that could be any of my problem
  7. Shit why not .. Me too
  8. I would love to play with mine it's a 96 Cummings I just to scared the tranny will go right now I can't afford a new one!!
  9. most people dont have bore guages, the closest thing you could do is clean everything as clean as you can and put a feeler guage in the bore and try to see what size you can go up to untill the piston wont fit. but .012 sounds like waaaaay to much to me
  10. We have a spot we were all racing at last weekend just a flat area at the coalhills.. I have a high compression 10mil serval with shearer sb if Bucky has a high compression 4mil cub ported and decked by redline CPI pipes Justin and chad both have stock banshees with just fmf and t5's Traction is not good here but all we have that's flat and 20 ft wide to race.!!! In a race me vs Bucky I come out of the hole harder and everyone thinks I won everytime cause they can only see 300 or so ft down track but once in high gear the cub pulls on me everytime. Me vs stock motors they actully come out of the hole just as hard as me and kinda keep up till I hit 5th gear which is probably 150ft then I pass them like there standing still.. Im 320lbs they are all 150-190lbs so IMO my weight helped off the line I would launch in 3rd gear do I did not have to shift as much. The guy on the cub is a better rider and probably better tuner than me and making more power than me by passing me down track The stock ish banshees did not make the power to stay with us after 150ft. But did good untill there I believe cause they did not fight traction. ?? We probably did 30+ races this week end So in this one (track which it's not really) CPI did the best in the long race shearer was always fastest to 300ft and in a short race 150 or so ft sometimes the t5 and fmf were ahead?? I did not put this here to start crap I'm just showing how a track can favor a certain power and power delivery!! Which Brad must have found that sweet spot that works great for him..!!!!
  11. So did you rebuild it?? Cause the tear in the boot would not change the reading on a compression gauge.. Unless the cyl was wrecked but then you would need to rebuild.
  12. I would say weld it also but.. I had 190psi in my old setup and ran is for a while never had a problem... although I was always worried about it I just figured if it went I would go with a bigger crank so it would be a win win for me either way!!!
  13. Yea I would say the big bores will never run right.. But I could Be wrong.
  14. I have rode with a few guys that have had 4mil stock cyl ported motors by "site sponser" and guns4childrens motor was way easier to ride on the hill not saying it would be better anywhere else .. But where I ride the serval seems to work great they seem to have better "recovery " power if that's what you would call it .. IMO but yea they probably don't rev as high either the 4mil is only 186ish exh
  15. you probably just dont have enough power to get you much faster?? and why only 3-4 mph faster? it does not sound like your on a track by the way you said 86 according to my trail tech
  16. I was considering the cly and called the place you said would fix it for $250 they qouted me $443 to fix it since I'm not a dealer?? how did you get that price of $250 I told them one skirt was broke off and one was cracked I'm guessing I told her the correct info
  17. if your keeping the pipes then stock cyl.. if your getting a cyl a serval would be great option and could be ported later but will like a different pipe and carbs.. I have a 10mil serval and it is awesome power everywhere from dam near idle to redline just flat out runs good..
  18. that would have been a wild ride rolling down the hill thats for sure..!!!
  19. Thats a cool pic .. I thought you had to run knobbies at that track? Hopefully I'll see ya out there one day looks like its 3 and 1/2 hr drive for me I would live to try it
  20. I don't want to come across as a ass, but if the only problem with the carbs is it won't take fuel and you started this thread cause of that without pulling the bowl off ... That seems kinda shitty. I do agree stuff should work, but if all it is was a stuck float from shipping seems kinda harsh to be bashing the guy.. Now on the other hand the guy should return your pm's also.. Good luck
  21. I agree before it was just fight till one guy is almost dead no real rules. I never liked to watch it back then , not the fight is stopped at a good stopping point "most of the time" I really dont think cage fighting would be much today without someone like Dana??
  22. I think Dana brought the sport to a level that suited a much wider viewing spectrum.
  23. The water container is to dip you part your grinding to keep it cool.
  24. I would build a bench that went from the wall over to the door, and put the vise on ther right side toward the door. I would mount the grinder either on a stand or mount it on the left wall by the bench. Atleast I think so anyway. Can't wait to see some ideas I would love to make something better myself.
