  1. this was the first one my brother in law Bruce this was the second one he is 57 yrs old and drives 5 hours to climb with us he lives to climb rides like a mofo and will attempt anything!! to bad this time he broke 3 ribs collapsed a lung and shattered his scapula and will need surgery he drove himself home to ohio 5hr away and went to hospital he is a tough OLD guy sorry my gopro way pointing way to high video dont really start till 28 sec in and watch thru or skip thru you see me dragging him off the hill
  2. when you run race fuel you can run alot more compression and timing which will make a cub easier to trail ride... I went from pump gas to race fuel with my 10mil serval and it was night and day difference in how it runs WAY more power everywhere
  3. Looks great
  4. I put it in the 1st post.. It's a 10mil serval running 22cc domes 7 deg timing shearer pipes 39mm pwk carbs my Cyl specs at 192-130 timings as cast it has been clean up. I currently run a east coast Atv clutch with 3 Jd and 3 stock springs in his basket with my factory clutch hubs.. It works great no I don't think it slips at all I have pulled 4th gear up hills and launched in 3rd gear racing. I'm just educating myself I want to build a bigger motor and wanted to see if there was a diff in the two lockups. I figure when I do the 535 I will probably put one in.
  5. Thanks guys I guess I'll add one of these to the list looks like the slingshot will work fine for me
  6. Looking good!!
  7. looks good now you got me thinking
  8. thats a air stryker
  9. I just want the side mount for the extra tools it hold I make high end titanium flashlight and could use more than the 20 tools mine holds!!! my parts take several hrs to make so for me the speed is not the main priority on a 4hr cycle a few mins is not a big deal for me but I'm just a small one man shop.. on a fast paced job shop the fast tool changer make a big difference and is fun as hell to watch
  10. I'm going to try and put my 535 together over winter and I am debating about putting a lockup in as well. I kinda would like to keep the stock side cover on just cause I like the look. I'm not one who will be changing the weights / balls out etc with the clutch once I get it to where it works I'm done playing with it!!! So what are the advantages and disadvantages to both of these? Thanks
  11. sure wish my vf3 had the side mount tool changer like that
  12. yea figured by now would have heard something???
  13. either post up some pics of it , or measure the part where it would go into the carb boot then you would know what size boot you need
  14. I do machining for a living .. I give you props for doing what your doing on your 3 in 1 mill lathe setup
  15. Looks like a good find!!!
  16. Wow
  17. I looked in to that hillclimb me and special06shee might try to go next year it would be fun to try it!!
  18. My buddy had the fast clutch and it would not hold a 4mil cub he then put the easy Coast clutch in and never had a problem again he ran it for 1/2 the summer and loves to drag race.. Motor is said to make 92 or so hp. I rode his quad and drag raced his quad a few times "we switched quads" his pulls topend harder than mine so I assume if it works for him and me it would work for you
  19. If your steel plates show hot spots or are warped the new clutch won't hold either
  20. Lol sorry you could of pm'ed me I don't come on as much as before
  21. I have had a east coast Atv clutch with stock inner and outer hubs 3 stock springs 3 heavy duty springs and NO lock up and have beat the hell out of the clutch for the past 2 years earlier this year tire it down it still looked brand new..I don't do a lot if riding in pavement but I can tell you with knobbies it won't hook up in any gear even with my 320lbs on it my quad hooks harder with the paddles in the coal most if the time!! I have launched my quad hundreds of times in second for hill climbs and a shit load of times in 3rd racing and clutch it on hills whenever needed, I hope you get your issue fixed if not call east coast they use te clutch in all there drag bikes with slicks and alot don't have a lock up!!
  22. I will agree the iphone is a pos after the update but... it still posts pics
  23. I have been running my 10mil serval for going on 2 years it has been super reliable I ride about every 3 weeks year round and burn 4-8 gallons every trip depending if we camp. I will never do a motor for myself unless its a 10mil or bigger but that is just me. I do mostly hill climbs some drag racing and some trails
  24. Isn't that a 1500-$2000 trip? There is no way I can swing that right now.. Just got my kids into riding if I go to anything like that I would want to take my family so for 4 of us wow that to much, but I would love to go
